[Script] Issues with disappearing

    Hello, in my starter city I have a Pokemon Center. To prevent the pokecenter glitch when you have no pokemon I decided to put a man in front of the door. He is to disappear once you get your starter. I have used the hidesprite script by putting a script to hide his sprite outside Oak's lab, but it won't work. Is there any way for me to script a flag to make him disappear when the first pokemon is received?
