Issues with my Banner & Avatar

not sure if this is the place for it but..
if you're using a darker theme, you'll notice the problem right away.

i'm not talented in regards to photo editing, but i did manage to throw together my banner and avatar and it took me a long time to do it.
it's the white pixelated outline that ruins it.

i don't have access to anything that could fix the issue, i just used an online editing software.. any tips?

Don't know if this will be any help but speaking as someone who doesn't have fancy-schmancy software either, I like using (ezimba).

The transparency tool works with this threshold called Approximate Color (Fuzz) and will make similar colors transparent; the higher its percentage, the more colors.
