Ok, now as to begin with, many of you might know that I do not like to complain, and I do not like to bug the staff for whatever change there is on PC. However, when I do complain is when I believe there IS something wrong. Understanding this, please be sure to take your time to consider what I am about to say...

As we have all seen, Lion Heart was a member who had strong opinions. He apparently disagreed with higher staff at times, until some days ago "someone" decided to ban him.
His ban did not last very long, as many people disagreed with what the reasons for banning him were, and myself, I think that the reasons were mainly exagerated and untrue.

Seeing there were no concrete proofs of him flaming, and instead, there were many people supporting him, an ADMINISTRATOR decided to un-ban him.

However, after he got unbanned "the same someone", who clearly dislikes him, got him banned again. This all happened without LH knowing anything. He did NOT receive any further notice by staff, he did not flame, and he did not spam. He was acting just like a normal member, he was getting on with his friends and leading a peaceful 'life' at PC.

Now I just want to know - does this sound fair? Doesn't it sound like "someone" is abusing his power? I'll leave you to think about it...

I have been discussing on MSN with Lion Heart, he's pretty much annoyed by this, but what makes him even more annoyed is the person who banned him, the praetor Dakota, that is talking to him on MSN...

Now, I know MSN has nothing to do with PC, however, those quotes might just give you an idea on what the situation is:

His posts in the T-Dome alone were enough to warrant a ban. Whilst Dakota's dislike didn't exactly help the situation, his banning was mutually agreed upon by the staff. Although Dakota pressed the button, it was a democratic decision to ban and reban him.

I did not really know or like Lion Heart. From the posts he made that I had seen, I saw that he was flamey and went off topic nearly all the time. <.<;;

As for what he may have done to some of the staff, that I don't know about. I was one of the staff members who wasn't within Lion Heart's range I suppose. XD

If it truly was our dearest Dakota who did this...from what your little MSN convos say, it sounds like Dakota banned LH out of hatred. XD But I know D better than that. I'm sure he had his reasons, but why shed those reasons upon a flamey unworthy member?

Now...I'm afraid I must stop at this point, for I see a few members are sharpening their pitchforks. XD

...Wasn't that the purpose of his first ban? You can't just ban a guy, then unban him and ban him again if he hasn't actually done anything wrong since he was unbanned. That isn't right.

Doesn't sound fair to me still.... He was a really good member and his case was supported by many. No proof was given of his flaming, and Kwesi himself said he would have re-organised banning policies or something...

Besides, he was rebanned after doing no flaming/spamming AT ALL, with no further notice too. And as MCD said about his posts on the T-Dome, that gave him a restriction of access to the T-Dome, and that's how the problem ended.

His unban was unauthorized...So of course he's going to be rebanned. He was warned countless times and he didn't listen, he evaded his ban by rejoining, that alone is enough to merit another ban. Almost all of the higher staff agreed to his banning, he was given countless chances to shape up and he wasted them.

I don't want to take sides. I wasn't here when this problem arose, but from what I've heard and seen, LH was a really flamey member that went for too long without being put in check (sound familiar?) The end result was a burst of "WTF?!? Why was LH banned?" when he finally was banned (also sound familiar?).

This is just my perspective, but there are many parallels between the cases of JKaizer, a1337a, and Lion Heart...

EDIT: Ok, now this is really starting to interest me: You said his banning was discussed and agreed between staff, yet, why do some staff members barely know about his case?
They all seem to mention "from what they see" or "what they think". No one has yet given me any link of his spam/flame. >_>;

It was Casey who gave the OK to reban, admitting that it had been a mistake to unban him in the first place. He was rebanned for past offences, not for ones he didn't commit inbetween bans.

MSN isn't PC and personal opinions can't be held against anyone. The staff did work together, and we came to a unified decision that he was to be banned.

None of it was exaggerate and none of it was untrue. You need to hear both sides of the story before you believe something to be fact. Were you there in the T-dome when LH called all christians "Insane" and "Dickheads". or When he said that everyone who believes that bible is Stupid?

Or when he spammed the threads in Member Fan Clubs? Constantly complaining about being banned from the T-dome?

There was in fact conrete proof for him flaming, and not a single higher staff supports him...where the heck are you getting your info? From LH? >_>

Yes Steve pushed the unban button, but is was cause of me that he did because I neglected to say why I banned him. After I told Steve why, he right away gave me the ok to ban him.

The only staff that are confused, as you say Ningi, are moderators. Mods don't have a say in his banning, only SMods and up do, and if you go back and read through what the Smods and up have said in this thread, they agreed that he should be banned.
