    As far as I can see there is not thread on this so lala ~

    B/W has brought us some game changing items, whether it be the Rocky Helmet causing damage on contact or the Balloon protecting us from a devastating ground attack, these items provide usefulness throughout.

    What to discuss.
    → Favorite item & Why?
    → Do you use them during your game?
    → Most Pointless Item
    → Most useful item.
    → Anything item related.

    For some help; New Black and White items.

    Here's the Item Dex

    IMO the worst items are the Jewels and Wings that have been introduced, the Jewels boost a certain move type's power but not my much, and there only 1 time use, which is pretty crap.

    Secondly the EV Wings are pretty useless also, only raising the base stat by 1 not by 10, there wannabe drinks u_u
     
    Favorite item: Rocky Helmet. That combined with Rough Skin/Iron Barbs is enough to discourage physical (contact) attacking. I also like the Air Balloon because evading Earthquake for a while is useful.
    Most useful: See above. Also, Eviolite, because it gives NFEs a chance to shine.
    Least favorite: Wings, for the above reason.
    Most pointless item: Sweet Heart. It's essentially a Potion.
     
    I haven't really thought I've my most favourite or least favorite items but I am happy with how much easier it appears to be able to get hold of elemental stones.

    Also I like that we get given two exp shares and I believe this is the first time an NPC gives you a lucky egg, from my experience in previous games you had to find them in Chansey etc (correct me if i'm wrong)

    The main thing for me though is the TMs, being able to use them as many times as you want is a very good thing in my opinion.
     
    I can't say I like Casteliacone. It's a cute Full heal. It's basically a novelty item (You can get it once a week and only one cone. WHAT??).

    This. I mean, if it turned into a pokemon or something that would be worth it, but other than that it is rather lame.

    I like the fact that you get a lucky egg from Juniper. It makes it a lot easier to grind your pokemon up to snuff.
     
    I think my favourite has gotta be the rocky helmet, it's just that extra little laugh at your foe and if it's on something like Haxorus (has it on black) then it just makes it better =]
    I'm not sure about most pointless item, probably something like lagging tail or iron ball from gen 4. Either way i always try and use good items for my pokemon
     
    I find those Gems that you get from walking into those dust storms in caves pretty useful in the battle Sub, seeing as when one time items are used there they re appear.
     
    I don't really know which item I like but I like the Exp.Share though because when I leveled up my Tepig which was level 1 (I actually got it from the global trade) when I gave the Exp.Share it leveled up to level 27! in one battle aganist a level 60+.So that's why I like it and I always use it.
     
    I think the balloon is hilarious because I love imagining some larger Pokemon floating on it.
     
    I love Exp. Share in Black, seeing that the Pokemon in the post-ending are 60-75. It's easy leveling a weak Pokemon holding Exp Share with tons of experience, and with also your first Pokemon benefiting with some.

    I find it useful in the Pokemon League.

    Pokemon White has made me realize how amazing quick balls are. I can throw them first thing at a pokemon no matter what the level and the majority of the time they'll be caught straight away.

    In fact, I've been trying quick balls in Platinum and they don't seem to be as effective.

    New favourite item has to be the Rocky Helmet due to the recoil damage from physical attackers. I use it in game giving it to one of my smaller Pokémon trying to picture them wearing it.

    I like the Relic Crown. It seems so...rare (even though it is), idk. Something about its name? Either way I like it ^__^

    And I like the wings cause they sell for good money. :D Sorta.
     
    The special factor to the wings is that they continue raising EVs over 100.

    Got 250 EVs and don't feel like having one more fight? Use two wings instead, and you're done.

    Not the most practical thing in the world, I know, but... Eh, they have their uses.
