4th Gen Item Effectiveness?

    I'm wondering exactly how effective a few items are.

    Mind Plate, Odd Incense, Wise Glasses, Expert Belt. Which one raises the power of Psychic moves the most, and by how much? I already know Choice Specs gives 50% extra power, and Twistedspoon gives 10%.
     
    I know the Mind Plate is for Arceus, so don't worry about that until you get one.
     
    choice specs is for all special attacks, and i'm sure you know of its added effect.

    apparently, the plates boost 20% of the specific types. items such as twisted spoon boost 10%.

    wise glasses boost all special attacks by 10% but there is no added effect.

    the incense items... i'm not sure, but from what i remember reading at serebii, about 10-15% of the specific attack type.
     
    Actually, the Plates for Arceus change his type (Mind Plate makes him Psychic, for example), making it effectively a 50% boost to attack. Oh, and his Judgement attack also becomes the same type, so that'll really ramp up the damage.
     
    the plates aren't just for arceus. they can also be used on any pokemon and they boost that type of attack. they aren't limited to arceus. because of arceus' ability, it becomes that type.. so simply put, it has nothing to do with an item being just for him. it has to do with an ability being his alone.

    i'm sure ichida already knows this tho. i remember stealing his Fist Plate from his Gallade XD

    What about the Expert Sash, the one that "Powers up super-effective attacks" how much extra power does it give to a super effective attack? Does the bonus double for a X4 super effective?
     
    i agree, dugrio's diglet. Twisted Spoon is best for Psychic Type Attackcs, or at least i think so.
     
    Twistedspoon only boosts 10%, Mind Plate boosts 20%.
     
    ah. well, i've always attached it to an Alakazam, so i guess its just that good. lol
