5th Gen Its Official Pokemon IS DEAD!!!

Are you a old school Pokemon fan who likes the 5th gen?

    Ok so lets see what we have here a tombstone with ghost like arms and theres this demented green thing and this rock thing that looks like it is a 64 version of Heatran! But the starter Pokemon and the only Pokemon that look like Pokemon!
    Every thing was swell in the first two regions of Pokemon (Kanto and Johto) but then after that every thing went down hill third gen was not even that bad and Sinnoh... Well yeah MOST of those Pokemon looked like Pokemon. Now for the legendary's... Those look a digimon! Now I do understand that after a while the creators don't have much Ideas and that each region has its own type of theme Pokemon! Like for Hoenn there Pokemon looks more tropical, and the Pokemon in this game look kinda like Pokemon from the future or something... And I know you newer Pokemon fans are like "This is so fudging cool" (yes I was trying to make that sound stupid) But for us the old school red blue gold silver fans! The ones who grew up with Pokemon not what we call now call Pokemon! Its just it seems that if you compare some of the Kanto to the what ever it is called fifth gen Pokemon At Kanto your like oh Mewtwo and oh pidgey but now its like What... what is this?
    Sorry for this for dragging out so long I just wanna hear what the old school Pokemon fans think of this not the ones who grew up with Sinooh! the ones
    who grew up with Kanto and Johto! So this is for you old schoolers out there!

    I'm gonna go ahead and direct you here where hopefully you will realise that you're making the exact same point that thousands of others have made before you.

    As it happens, I am a 1st Gen fan who likes the direction the new games are taking.
     
    *link removed* Just because you don't like some of the new Pokemon doesn't ruin it. You admitted that you like some of the new ones and all of the previous 493 will still be available.

    Also, give it time. They will look more like Pokemon to you the more you get use to them being Pokemon. They don't look like Pokemon because they aren't, or rather weren't, until they are; if you get what I mean.

    While I do agree some of these look particularly weird (e.g. the black one and the green one), it's not like there haven't been before (Jynx, Mr. Mime, Nosepass, Probopass, etc.). If those ones don't look as weird, it's just because you've gotten use to them; 'cos really, they do.

    And yes, I am an 'old school' fan and I do like this generation. Your post is covered in nostalgia.

    True die hard fans who have been around since the very first day Pokemon aired in America will embrace whatever they give us. Ofcouse it's shocking at first but eventually warm up to them (if you are a true Pokemon fan) instead of looking for something to complain about.

    So what, they changed it now it sucks, it's ruined forever, it's been said before. Stuff changes, go cry. Pokemon obviously doesn't appeal to you any more, so stop playing it. Nobody cares about your little tantrum.

    heh heh xD This was not a angry message I was just trying to say that ill miss the classic and It will never be the same but who knows mabey Ill start to like the other Pokemon (I kinda have to anyways)
     
    How many of these topics do we really need, ill say it again for like the third time. Do not think that they are creating new pokemon cus they DON'T, at the beginning when they realised how big the franchise would grow, they designed 1000 different pokemon, as such there are no new pokemon designs. Second who says what looks like a pokemon, every pokemon looks like a pokemon simple as. Also just cus there more original and dont look like real things, does not mean that they are bad.
