But the sad thing is, they don't sell those huge Eeveelution plushies there anymore... :(

I just went there last week and got a Darkrai. Also, I didn't see the Umbreon figures...that sucks.

We should have a topic...Ideas??? Anyone? I don't have any.

Does anyone know if Umbr/Espeon can learn hypnosis, and if there is even a TM for Hypnosis?
 
U know how D/P has Glacion and Leafion?
Well, I think Platinum should have some more Eevee evolutions, don't u think?
Like a dragon type, bug type, etc.

Yeah, but... that'd be entirely new pokemon, the thing is, new pokemon are only released from new generations, so you'd have to wait a few years for that. O_o Though a dragon type would be awesome~ And I'd like to see a fighting type or a ground type.

They're not going to do that. They are only adding a new Regi, Giratina and Shaymin.

Wwell Dragon type Eevee would look like Vaporeon, inly purple, and more lizard-like, and maybe with some wings. That wasn't a good description was it?

I was just thinking about this the other day (all day I dream of Eevee).
Ultimately there should be an Eevee for EVERY type. That would be cool.
And it should evolve based on where the evolution happens (kind of like Glaceon/Leafeon do) and maybe when (like Umbreon/Espeon).
Maybe even multi-type Eevees, like a Dark/Fighting type.

But keep dreaming. Just because we love Eevee doesn't mean Nintendo does.
Let's face it Eevee is 'old' to them. They're all about new pokemon.
I know we just got Glaceon/Leafeon, but that was just luck on our part. :)

I'm not so sure. People said the same thing after Espeon and Umbreon came out, you know. While I agree that we won't see any mixed Eevees anytime soon, Nintendo clearly recognizes the popularity of Eevee. The new evolutions prove that. She's the universal dog or cat, the pet we all love for so many reasons. She's one of the most appealing (cute) Pokemon the franchise has known, as her popularity proves. Virtually every archetypal taste you could want can be found in her evolutions: From the boyish dog in Jolteon, to the dark and mysterious Umbreon, to the almost cattish Espeon, she has something to please everyone, and everyone's responded. While I do think Eevee has a limit that's probably been reached (you can only cover so much ground with a single creature, before it becomes a little trite), entertainment companies are notorious for ignoring limits. If you can make money by making a crappy sequal to a famous movie, you do it. I suspect we still have not seen the end of Eeveelutions, especially considering the reception these two new creatures have received. From my limited perspective, they seem to symbolize Diamond and Pearl at least as effectively as the starters or the legendaries.

If Eevee's done, I think she's probably done the same way Pikachu's "done." No matter how far the game goes, she'll always be somewhere near the heart of the franchise. We'll never really see her "end," until we see the end of Pokemon itself.

EDIT: you know what i noticed as i was updating the list? Eevee is an odd name. I'm not being mean, but think about it. Eevee. Eeveeee. Its a kind of odd name, isn't it? I really like odd names, they're so original. They're so full of thought. I wonder how the people at Nintendo thought up the name Eevee. I'm blabbing >.<
 
That is true that Eevee is from the 1st season, but when Nintendo gave us Glacion and Leafeon, there's no way that was luck.
I think that they new if they made some new Eevee evolutions, that would get even more people to buy Diamond and Pearl.
Of course, that's just my opinion.
There might be another reason.
They could still love Eevee and might be thinking of some new designs for it for other types.
Think about, if Eevee were to have all types, u would have a non-legendary Pokemon as an ultimate Pokemon like Mew and Arceus.
That would be so awesome!

Eevee is named after the first two letters of EVolution.
