IV Help

So, I just learned about IVs the other day (as if I didn't have enough to worry about with Natures, EVs, etc), and I'm wondering if there's a way to change/control your Pokemon's IVs. For example, I'm hatching lots of Eevees lately in the hopes of getting one that will make a good Jolteon, hopefully with a powerful Hidden Power Grass. However, it's proving trickier than I thought, since the only thing it seems I can do is hope for the right combo. Any advice from you more experienced breeders?

But anyway, IVs are a Random set of numbers given to each Pokemon when you catch them or breed them.

IV breeding a perfect or a near perfect Pokemon takes a while.
The possible combinations for a Hidden power grass are as follows;
31/30/31/31/30/31
31/31/30/31/30/31
30/31/31/31/30/31

HP/Attack/Defense/Sp.Atk/Sp.Def/Speed

IV breeding is a relatively long process. If you don't have a good Eevee/Eeveelution with decent IVs to start out with.

I'm not exactly the best person when it comes to IV breeding.
Parents will pass down some of their IVs. You will just have to keep breeding until you get the desired IV in that stat.
