Ive got a theory.

Alright today I was thinking of the ditto experiments as well as Mew 2 and it hit me. According to the movie Mew 2 was an experiment to clone Mews DNA however he was his own entity. But due to recent games Mew 2 can mega evolve... Does this mean that those scientists accidentally made man made mega evolutionary DNA before mega evolutions were even discovered? I would love a responce to those theory of mine.

Interesting. Maybe since Mewtwo is a man-made Pokemon (in the sense his DNA is altered), his DNA is compatible with different stones (which explains why he was multiple mega evolutions).

True but if we go by that then why does Charizard have 2 mega evolutions as well?

Maybe Mewtwo had some DNA of Charizard put in it, you may never know.
