It's called Motto To Love-Ru. It's not really different to the original series if i'm honest with you. Lots of random ecchi moments and next to no actual content. I guess it's ok if you like the characters, which i do.

I would definitely watch Bakuman, it's really nicely done actually. The pacing is done at a nice rate for character development, it's only been 4 episodes but you already know a fair bit about the characters. It's a 25 episode series so unless it has a Death Note like second half fail i can see it being one of my favourite anime.

Oh. I don't want to watch something very 'ecchi'. I will probably leave this one aside. XD

And the Bakuman anime sounds cool. I'll check it out soon. I am currently in the process of finalizing White Album, a nice, 'little' anime. xD

I've heard good things about that, not seen it though.

Natsu no Arashi! is one i started this morning, interesting stuff. SHAFT actually decided to properly animate this series xD.

Meh, none of the new series this season seem to particularly interest me. I might go back to rewatch older series.

Which isn't a bad thing; I do need to get myself re-acquainted with some old friends sitting on my hard drive :)

I'm watching Sora no Otoshimono Forte, and Shinryaku Ika Musume atm. Just started both of them 2 days ago. Hadn't heard of the second season of to-love ru, but I'll probably watch that too.

Kekkaishi = awesome. I have been looking for something to replace Bleach to get my action/supernatural fill for ages and this is it. Not sure how good the anime is but i've just read the first couple of manga volumes and i'm hooked.

Kekkaishi comes on Adult Swim btw. I actually like the series :o

I just picked up The World God Only Knows, which is an anime release in this season and so far, it's the "most promising" series this Fall. Though episode 4 felt like a filler, but the previous episodes were exceptional.

From this new anime releases, I am only watching a few shows, including the mentioned above: Star Driver, MM!, and Psychic Detective Yakumo. And I am continuing Arakawa Under the Bridge season 2, which is going okay for now. :D

I only read the Bakuman manga, is the anime as good?
I'm going to try and start Arakawa, but I'm sort of hesitant.

I like Kekkaishi as well, especially since there is not much new outside of Bleach Dubs, and re-runs of FMA Brotherhood. Some people were kind of miffed though because they wanted to get Soul Eater on Adult Swim instead of Kekkaishi. I think I am going to start reading Kekkaishi manga since the Anime probably leaves a lot out since it only runs 52 episodes. Out of this new season I am interested in Hakuoki Season 2, Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto, and Otome Youkai Zakuro.https://myanimelist.net/anime/9065/Hakuouki_Hekketsuroku

Am I the only one who prefers to watch older anime as opposed to newer ones? o3o

I don't really have preference to anime as long as it's good. For example, i'm likely to end up marathon most of the old-school gundams sometime soon. And frankly most of hte older series just because how their plot is generally so much better than today's stuff. [should totally marathon all of Conan sometime lol]

Gundam and Conan are like 80s to 90s XD

Animation as in...like...non-moe-style or something,?

Also, am I the only one who cares about animation? I think it's pretty important but most people just care about the art. :U
But animation generally gets better by time, and the quality of animation doesn't vary too much except between different animation studios. If you pick series containing the same amount of action and animated by the same studio, most people wouldn't notice too much of a difference so I guess they tend to overlook that. Artwork varies from one series to another, so it's easier to compare and critique. It's generally quite rare to notice something particularly outstanding regarding animation quality.

Animation is how many pictures are drawn and how fluidly they connect.

LIKE THAT.

By today's standards, that animation would be considered crap. WHY IS THE BACKDROP ONE LAYER. THE SKY MOVES WITH THE GROUND. WHY ARE THOSE CLOUDS MOVING BACK AND FORTH WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WIND. THE MOUNTAINS IN THE BACK ARE MOVING WITH THE MOUNTAINS IN THE FRONT. ADSGASDFHDSAFSGHASFHDSHFDFSH

Well, as far as older series I've watched the original To Heart (1999) and Fancy Lala (1996) and quite enjoyed both shows.

I might investigate some of the older magical girl series if I can locate them online.

Don't see the point. Just watch good ones.

Anyway Halloween booze related headache will hopefully be gone soon and i'll be able to watch todays new episodes (Pokemon Best Wishes! Episode 7 and Sora no Otoshimono Forte Episode 5) as well as a chunk of Natsu no Arashi. Gosh i don't like early mornings.

Thing is, most older anime are generally better than the newer stuff. It's just that a lot of people shun them cuz they don't like how it looks.

I don't know, i'm sure there was a lot of trash about in the 70s as well. I'm not saying there was never good anime but i'm sure there was crap as well.

Just as i;m thinking about dropping Sora no Otoshimono: Forte they come out with the best episode of the show ever. Some of the things in this show are so silly but still, lots of lolz.
