Beh, when I get to college, I'm going to live the life of watching anime more frequently... -_-

Everyone's like "I WATCH 10 SHOWS AT ONCE!"

I'm like, "I've been chipping away at this one for a month...

EDIT: Higurashi, you confuse me. And not even in ways you're supposed to.

Wait, here thar be spoilers up to Episode 5.
Spoiler:

That sounds a lot like like me to be honest ^^;;
8 Shows being watched in anime club would about do it by itself XD

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

As far as Gosick goes, that first one was...a boring first part of the mystery, though it's nice they actually brought up the part of "Motive," and the fact that they continued on it.

Actually, this anime reminds me a lot of kure-nai, especially that town part.

Instead of GOSICK, I watched Madoka Magica.
Same timeslots, ouch.

I actually like Madoka and where it'll probably go. If it turns out to be a bloody Hidamari with magical stuff, I'm fine.

Also I recently started watching Jewel Pets Tinkle.
This is the best Saturday Morning Animu I've seen. Early morning nekomimi loli and a meganekko = best way to start the day

I swear I had mentioned Mahou Shoujo Hidamari that's dark somewhere here, guess not XD

and Mahou Shoujo is always the way to start a Saturday morning :D

So new animes out and I am quite enjoying what winter/summer 2011 has to offer so far. I'm glad Beelzebub and Freezing finally got animated. Let's see what I thought about what I've seen so far.

Freezing - The Untouchable Queen looks awesome in the first ep.
Spoiler:

Beelzebub - Still waiting on subs but based on the opening it appears that we'll be seeing Baby Beel's penis in the anime...... a lot.

Mitsudomoe Zouryouchuu - A nice way to start a second season but I hope it's not gonna be Gachi Ranger for the rest of the season.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - I'm thinking this gonna be dubbed by the end of the year or at the beginning of next year. At least it's alright based on the first episode but I was hoping the first duel to be finished within the first episode.

Yumekui Merry - It was totally awesome, the cats were so cute and Merry looks so cool.

Infinite Stratos - When I read the synopsis I was expecting your average ecchi harem anime but no this is quite serious. I'm glad the characters are more level headed and don't make those over the top reactions due to accidents. I'm also hoping that Ichika will beat that self centered girl.

Rio: Rainbow Gate - Interesting indeed, hands were unexpected, I was thinking that guy would get 4 Queens and she'd have like 4 Aces. I guess it just humiliated that guy even more by beating him with the weakest hand in the game.

Kimi Ni Todoke Season 2 - I can't really say much so far since it was just a recap unless there's a proper episode I missed.

Edit: So I just saw Beelzebub, apparently the opening I saw before was for the Jump Anime tour thing. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see Oga's signature move the "Super Rocket Punch".

Beelzebub - Surprisingly enjoyable, I downloaded it expecting to not like it and it wasn't the case at all. The main guy is voiced by the legend that is Katsuyuki Konishi, pretty much a perfect choice imo. Art is pretty nice even if the demon baby thing is really weird.

Mitsudomoe - Best episode of anything ever. Gachi Rangers are pure win. That is all.

Onii-chan no Koto - It's basically KissxSis with weird art and character designs. The polar opposite of last seasons Oreno (probably a good thing, right?) it's entertaining even if it won't have any substance.

Freezing - WTF did i just watch. Gore on the same levels as Elfen Lied, fanservice on the levels as Queens Blade and other aspects were reminiscent of Eiken. Not for the feint of heart but i'm sure some people will enjoy it.

I was expecting to want to drop a load of these after an episode but pretty much all of the starts have been good, I guess i'll stick a few on hold and watch them later.

I wouldn't say same levels, but it's pretty close ^^;;.....and service on levels of Queen's Blade isn't generally a good thing in the first place XD

And Oniichan..........those necks are really bothering me XD

Ok, i did exaggerate a little but wow, the bit with the leg and arm really caught me off guard ^^.

About Onni-chan, i'm surprised about the art style actually. The producers Zexcs usually have very slick and pretty artwork (They brought us stuff like H2O: Footprints in the Sand and Fortune Arterial)....Saying that i'm not surprised at the content a good half of their work are in the ecchi/harem/pantsu genres ^^

Probably that this one's based off a manga rather than an eroge

Also, Beelzebub getting off to a great start. Still have to wait 2 more arcs to see Kunieda show up though. Her voice is...really cute for her character though, wasn't expecting that at all...^^;;

Ah that's probably right, i tend forget about VNs/eroge and stuff like that. I'm reading Fortune Arterial but it would be pretty easy to see how it could have originated from an eroge.

That only happens at the beginning of the series, after a while assuming we don't get filler, it's just gore all the way through.

Just like Higurashi.

*Shudders*

Is it okay to admit that I frequently skip over the more... detailed... gore sequences?

Because this show doesn't settle for your garden variety gore.

It goes for the fingers and eyes. *Shudder*

I've never seen anything with so much gore i've felt I had to skip through it, the most unsettling gore i've seen was probably in Higurashi...
Spoiler:
but even that wasn't that bad really.

So the fanservice should tone down a bit, that's good I guess. Tbh I may put this series on hold indefinitely and just read the manga.

Wait, so
Spoiler:

Then again, I kinda... Ummm... Once I caught the implication, I skipped forward, then slowly back, until I reached the standard black screen and loud scream.

I'm a coward, I know.

But... yeah.

I'm a coward, so I'll probably be skipping that too~ -_-

But... I find Satoko hilarious. People can easily pick her up and throw her across the room, yet she has the strength to do the same to Keiichi?

Yes there were a few moments like that in Higurashi, oh well it was entertaining.

Anyway, new favourite anime of all time. Mars Of Destruction. To date that is probably the most epic 20 minutes of my life, also...What a twist! :o

My favourite anime is Castle in the Sky.

Then Gurren Lagann
Then One Piece Film: Strong World
Then The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya
Then CLANNAD

But I'm probably gonna bump CLANNAD or Haruhi down once I'm done with Cowboy Bebop. :U
