Walpurgis night tonight, everyone praying for a loli in pink to save us all?

Anyway, watched the LOTGH prologue film and loved it. I'm not going to fanboy over the series like a good 30% of it's fanbase but i can see it's not overrated. The two main guys are both very likeable which is a very good sign indeed.

What a coincidence, you just started LoGH while I only have two episodes left of the show. It's a great show, but like everything it does have flaws.

The ending to the first season was one of the best episodes in any anime I've ever seen though.

Began reading Nana to Kaoru :x
I don't even know why I'm even reading it, to be honest, it's pretty bland :/

Oh and does anyone here listen to BIGBANG? Or am I the only one?...

Not all of their music is Korean, they have released a few Japanese albums and they have Japanese versions of their songs such as :

(Korean)

(Japanese)

I quite like the Japanese version better :3

Yeah, but they originate from Korea.. so.. :3
I find 'Haru Haru' pretty decent to listen to, but that's all Korean.

That's true, but they're still one of the top J-pop artists, and their Japanese songs have won many awards :D

Never heard of them. Dir en Grey and random animu music is the only Japanese stuff i listen to now really.

Nana to Kaoru, ha. I downloaded the ova ep and watched it blind, let's just say I wasn't expecting that. The guy has a horribly creepy design.

Never seen the OVA but it must be a bit different than the manga :o

Asian Kung Fu generation isn't that bad either :o

Hmmm perhaps, I might read it sometime but tbh with ya', I can't imagine too many people reading that for the plot and there are plenty of other series that can do the same thing without that guy.

Got up to date on HayaCon yesterday, dat A-tan arc.

Holy crap, just read that there's going to be an anime convention or something like that in Chicago @_@ Now only if I could find a ride....... D:

Anyone been to an anime convention?

We have a decent sized on in London but I've never really felt the urge to go. I probably will go to one in the future but yeah, nope.

Watching the first few eps of Hetalia made me want to eat pasta.

I did. It was just 3 days of me hanging out in the dealer's room. In my view, aside from the merch and picking up a new series or two, it really wasn't that special unless you're into cosplay, vidya, and being outwardly social. Of course, I'd go again if I when the chance arises since the merch is so totally worth it.

What kind of things do they sell there? Other than the obvious manga and anime. I'm wondering if I should start saving up so I have enough to buy everything there :3

IIRC, figures, fanart, posters, wall scrolls, clothing, accessories, pillows, trading cards, old games, Japanese weapons, and Pocky and other Japanese snacks. My friend also claimed that they sell doujin CDs there, but I didn't see them at the one I went to. Spent a good $160 at my first one excluding food expenses.

Oh, and you'd better pre-register. If you don't, then good luck trying to get an admittance badge as they'll probably be sold out if you try to wait in line on the days it occur.

Wow that's a lot of stuff o.o

You have to pre register? ._.
I thought you just go in and look around, buy what you like than leave D:

How do you pre-register?

I'd expect you call or email them, like a regular event ticket booking.

Hmmm i'm happy atm so 5cmps chapter 4 will be saved for another time me thinks.

Pretty simple. Just visit the site of the convention you're attending and it should be self-explanatory from there. Be warned that there is an admission fee which varies depending on what days you go on. Mine was $50 for the 3 days.

...If you were planning on going to Anime Central, it seems that Pre-reg is closed. Better hope you can get one on Thursday the 19th.

Just found out FLOW is supposed to perform :O
I remember when I used to listen to their music XD

Oh wait, I'm not going. Oh well :/
I have no ride nor anyone to go with.
