James - Blue hair, or Purple Hair?

Does James have Blue hair, or Purple hair?

    Here's something I want cleared up. I've seen a lot of people say James has Purple hair, but I always thought it was Blue. What do you guys think?
     
    I think blue. Maybe in older episodes he had purple hair, but now it's blue.

    in the older ones it was blue, the newer episodes his hair is more lavendar
    but it still looks pretty blue to me though
     
    Blue Violet / Violet Blue Problem solved.
    It really depends on who was doing the main coloring come coloration day.

    His name is Sugimori. I've seen you call him "Surugomi" before XD
     
    I think it teeters on the borderline of dull blue and dark periwinkle, but it's mostly blue.
     
    currently or past-tense? currently its blue but originally it was purple therefore i voted purple.
     
    i always though he had blue hair, jessie had red hair, and Meowth had the mix of the colours, purple hair *shot*
     
    It looks like Periwinkle to me. Maybe Mauve.
     
    I've always thought it was more of a perriwinkle, but overall blue. (As for Jessie, doesn't she have pink hair, not red?)
     
    lol, i think he had blue hair in some episodes and purple in others.
     
    I usually think of it as periwinkle, or some other indigo-like color between blue and purple. Leaning more towards the bluish side, though.
     
    It's funny because I have seen a lot of people say it was purple in the old series (Season 1) But I have just been watching them and I see his hair as Blue.
