CharMz said:Your banners are awesome. XD
But what's strange is..
Everytime I look at one I think: "Hey she used ____ to make that ___ effect."
In other words I know what you use but I lack teh creativity to utilize it..O_o
Kahoshi said:90% of my backgrounds are inspired by old lacy/solorized/brightcolors/aged effects, so I can churn out banners in no time, only they look halfarsed. D;
CharMz said:Bleh.
Can you show me one of your older banners? I want to see if I can use what I know about photoshop to recreate the background as I see it..

That's the oldest one I have for Paintshop pro, probably made in summer.

And my first one on Photoshop, made about 3 months ago.
The brushes I use most are ones with lacy effects and old photo ones, they give a vintage look, and then I brighten and recolor them~ ;O[/FONT]
Duh. You expected me to actually draw something? Background took like five seconds.CharMz said:It looks like all you did was crop the image..O_o

All that was done with the black and white image was a flat black back ground, with white aged photo effects, brightened, then recolored, the butterfly was a photoshop brush, and the two images were cut and layered so that the eyes would look transperent. Then I added the spatter. It really wasnt that hard, I'm just better with manga images for some reason. o_oCharMz said:It looks like all you did was crop the image..O_o
Oh-kay ..
There's no way I'll be recreating that..XD
I did. One pixel black. I don't bother with borders other than that. They just all looked wierd.CharMz said:No...you could have just added an effect to it...maybe you could have made a border..o_o
