I had a little snake thingie that glowed in the dark, left it on my lamp and it burnt and shiveled... ;_;

The only real advantage of having one is that it's portable, but even then you need to recharge it every few hours. They also have crappy graphics cards, meaning you can't play recent games, you need to get used to the trackpad, which is just ridiculously hard. They have crappy processors (slow performance) and overheat easily (even slower performance). And on top of that, they're extremely expensive, and the cheaper ones usually have crappy power adapters (like Kylie's).

They = fail.

Laptops aren't that good.. It's battery lasts for a few hours only..

Still, this keyboard is inferior to my beautiful wireless one. ;_; *mourns its death*

If you mean not expensive, they are in fact very expensive. Kylie's lappy (apparently) cost $1.6k, and look at how many times she's had to leave because of how crappy it is. Whereas my desktop cost about $600-700 altogether, and I've yet to have a problem with it bar the keyboard (which was actually free, thanks to my sister).

Exactly. They're overrated. x_x They were created so you could move your computer around with you easily when you travel. Otherwise you should just get a desktop, you can get one much better for a cheaper price. And even my friend who has no problem paying $500 a month for internet agrees.
