Japanese epps have a different feel to it

Because I only watched the first season of Pokemon in English, I can only say one thing:
"The opening theme song sucks"

The Japanese version has way better music

Complain, complain, complain

Gosh, for a bunch of young teenagers, your standards are entirely too high. I think it was a little harsh to judge Ash's dubbed character as dumb or whatever you said about him. In my opinion, I think Ash's dubbed character is perfect. The voice fits his overall look. The levels of Ash's character have made me love him anymore over the past several years. Though he may be compulsive and a bit clueless, that's what makes his character unique and charming.

The problem with comparisons is bias. You obviously enjoy the Japanese episodes more, so of course you're going to knit pick at the dubbed version. I mean, come on, our cultures differ, so we're going to reference cultural difference in our episodes and do things differently than what's been done in their version.

I've only seen one Japanese episode ever: The Legend of Dratini. It wasn't subbed, so I didn't understand a word of what was going on as far as dialogue. Honestly didn't find anything fascinating about the voice acting.

I don't know, my main question is if people have such a big problem with the dubbed version, why even watch it at all? Just go download Japanese episodes and stick to those. Don't waste your time watching the dubbed version if reeks that bad. As for me, I'm going to take what's given, run with it, and enjoy it.

I like subed mutch better than dubed, I stared watching the us version and once I got used to subtitling I started to watch over. I just tink the japanese versions are better, mopre amusing to me. they seem more serious about the world pf pokemon but mabey im looking into it to deep. I agree that the 1st season of the usa pokomon song stunk. I never liked it at all. Im not bashing the amerinan pkemon series it's good in it's own way but I just prefure the original.
