Jessie's Lickitung did it ever fit in team rocket

    I have always thought of all of team rockets pokemon as relativly Evil Besides wobbafett and mime jr (but they are more for comic relife) but most of there battling pokemon are all relativly evil looking but lickitung has never really fitted in team rocket now i need to know if any one else thinks this or is it just me being a bit crazy
     
    So thank god im not crazy i always thought that as well that the writters new they were going to get rid of it eventually
     
    It did in Orange Islands, but after that it had served its purpose.
     
    Huh. I always thought that Jessie battled better with Lickitung than she ever did with Wobbufet-but that's just me.
     
    Well, it was useful in the episode it was caught in, and then a few more times after that, but it's not like everyone uses all the Pokemon they have caught, they'd tend to use their favorites more often, right? ^^
    Besides, it was much better than Wobbufet~ (In my wild opinion)
     
    At the time, I'm sure it was for shock value. At that point, the games/anime were explicit on what kinds of Pokemon the Rockets would have (i.e., usually Poison types). Hence, when they showed Lickitung, it was a shocker. Depressing they forgot about it until OI, but what can you do?

    Of course, they're repeat it with the Psychic types, but Lickitung set the standard, I think.

    Unless, Lickitung's tongue was a commentary on the Rockets' double talk and occasionally being tongue-tied, but that's being a little too deep.
     
    To me Lickitung was just......there. It did nothing special, was nothing special, and I was glad to see the little bugger leave.

    I'm simply incredulous when I hear people talking about Lickitung come back in exchange for Wobuffet. WTH!???! Wobuffet is one of the best Pokemon TR had.

    Well, I have to admit, after it had a juggernaut first episode, then relegated to the usual loser status of Rocket Pokemon, I was forever mixed. I wished both stayed, but, agreed, Wobbuffet is a better Pokemon, both character and ability.
     
    Chimecho was not evil either know but Likitounge fit in to me.
     
    It never really suited her,Wobbuffet fits nicely XD
    You never get tired of its random pop-ups! =P

    Yeah. Lickylicky would make a good contest pokemon too!
     
    It did suit Team Rocket because it brought out the good in Jessie or something... something about being like her subconscience, or the good inside of her, I dunno. And the evil Pokemon ruined it?
     
    I think it suited them well. It was different, but it was a good contest pokemon. :3
     
    A normal type doesn't fit into an evil group, sure there's Meowth but besides that who uses a normal type?

    I don't think it fit in.

    Well, its not like she did it on purpose...remember, its Pokeball fell in the trade machine by accident, and the kid was so happy he ran off before there could be a trade back.

    i compltetely disagree with all team rockets pokemon being evil. arbok and weezing... they were really attached to jessie and james and faught hard to protect the baby weezing and ekans in teh ep that they left. victreebell... idk mabye but its odd obsession with eating james made it seem more innocent... wobbuffet and lickitung arent evil at all for obvious reasons... canea, chimecho, and mime jr are all not evil... look at cacnea. it jumps to hug james every time it comes out of its pokeball other than that it jst obeys orders. chimecho and mime jr obviously arent evil no use goin into detail. really the only two that i thnk are evil are seviper and meowth. and evn they have their soft points. in fact... screw it! the only person i consider completely evil ad selfish in team rocket is jessie. for obvious reasons
