4th Gen Jirachi Event?

I have heard that there is a Special Jirachi that activates events in HG/SS that you get in Platinum/Diamond/Pearl is it the McDonalds Jirachi? When was that event?

It was a Japanese Event. It was given away at certain WiFi locations in Japan aswell as regular WiFi. The Jirachi will unlock something on the up-comming HG/SS PokeWalker. It was given away from June 19th 2009 to July 17h 2009.

It might, and I say might come to US and Europe via WiFi also.

Yes, there was an event. :)
It's the Nintendo Zone, or NZ Jirachi.
It will unlock a special feature in the Pokewalker.
