(This is a tall Tale I wrote in my writing class last year :) it's kinda silly and weird but I thought it was time to start sharing things I've written)
John Jacob Jingle-Heimer Schmitt was born in 3434. As a child John Jacob Jingle-Heimer Schmitt was able to run faster than anything alive, he was tall for his age and had long, skinny legs which made running easier for him. His brown hair was held out of his face as he ran by a blue headband he was never seen without. By the age of ten he had been able to run across the country in less than a day, and by age 15 he could run to Europe in an hour. Now John Jacob Jingle-Heimer Schmitt was never one to back down from a challenge, and when one day his rival the Cheetah said to him "If you can run around the world in less than a minute then I will finally admit to you being the fastest thing alive, but if you can't you have to admit that I'm the fastest thing alive"
"I'll take your challenge Cheetah because I am the fastest thing alive." So John Jacob Jingle-Heimer Schmitt took off running faster than he ever had before determined to beat the Cheetah's challenge. Well John Jacob Jingle-Heimer Schmitt ran so fast that upon reaching China he ran right off the edge of the Earth and into space. To this day John Jacob Jingle-Heimer Schmitt hasn't stopped running, and when a streak of light is seen in the night sky parents say to their children "there goes John Jacob Jingle-Heimer Schmitt."
