So Far, I've just beaten Whitney.
I feel it was way too easy though.
I'll show you why:

 
Going to start a new game soon once i have my full team planned

my new planned team so far:

Cyndaquil >> Typhlosion
HootHoot > Noctowl
Sandshrew > Sandslash
Slowpoke > Slowbro
Voltorb > Electrode
-Blank... type of pokemon not decided yet, may go for a Skiploom from the Safari Zone

I am in the Burnt Tower, I forget its actual name. (Or is that its actual name?) Anyways, I caught and am now raising Sudowoodo. My team is:

Level 26 Male Sudowoodo
Level 26 Female Togetic
Level 27 Male Quilava

When I get this item I see I will go battle Morty~

Well, just beat Jasmine, my current team is:

Gloom Lv. 27
Feraligatr Lv. 31
Ampharos Lv. 30
Pidgeotto Lv. 34
Wooper Lv. 8
Sudowoodo Lv. 20

I'm about to go and evolve my Wooper so I can get rid of Sudowoodo (For Strength).
 
i've decided not to start a new game for now as i am just going to carry on with my existing save file, i need to find and train two extra pokemon for my team yet though, my team is roughly the same as my last post so i won't bother listing them
 
My current progress? Trying to avoid the temptation to download the ROM and wait until next year if that counts XD
 
just caught a level 50 Snorlax outside Diglett's cave, going to Pewter City to get the gym badge, i'm going to do them in order.

I'm now in the Slowpoke Well with:

Lv. 16 Zubat
Lv. 17 Totodile

Thank god my ROM is working again :3
 
Just beat Brock, i decided to start in Pallet town and walk through Viridian City and the forest, his Omastar was the hardest as it knocked out all but two of my pokemon, i realized in the end that it is a rock/water type and not a water/ground type so i knocked it out with two Discharges from Ampharos, i'm going to heal my pokemon at the pokemon centre then head into Mt.Moon and towards Cerulean City, hopefully this will give my team some training ready for the gym battle in Cerulean

Pidgeot Lv47
Ho-oh Lv47
Snorlax Lv50

-Aiming to get the levels up to about 53-56 for the other gym battles-

Beat Pryce before Chuck for some reason, going to Olivine. Attempting to train Pidgeotto (BOWIE); failing.

Team:

Ampaharos (male, 32, FLUFF)
Feraligatr (male, 31, PHIFE)
Sudowoodo (male, 25, HB/2)
Pidgeotto (male, 29, BOWIE)
Oddish (male, 6, UGLY)
Geodude (female, 2, SLAVE)

I know I fail. But you can rub it in if you want. I was never much of a trainer. :'( But on Gold... damn, did I own. I owned so hard. Okay, not really. But I had better Pokemon at this stage back then.

Gosh, I need a legendary on my team.

So my game froze after I completed Sprout Tower and my last save was at the beginning of Violet. Ugh. But it's ok, I'll re-complete it tomorrow.

I feel your pain. Same happened to me.
 
Wow I got pretty far tonight IMO.

So I beat the Rockets in Azalea, Beat Bugsy and his Gym, Won against Silver, Traversed through Ilex Forest, Hatched Togerpi :3, Battled Trainers on the way to Goldenrod and after, Got my bike, Battled Trainers in Underground, and got the Radio Card so I could challenge Whitney. All the while enjoying the wonderful lag of Goldenrod and Routes.

Current Team:

Crocanaw: 21
Zubat:21

Haven't decided who else to add to the team yet.
