I just beat Falkner. My team: Geodude: level 13, Cyndaquil: level 12, Zubat: level 8
 
Finished beating Whitney awhile ago. The battle would have finished much sooner if that Miltank didn't have so much hax in its favor. It flinched my Machop with the first Stomp. The second Stomp was a critical hit which fainted Machop. Luckily, I had a Revive that I found earlier in the game so I finished the job with Machop again. :)

I am making my way to Ecruteak City but I am currently at the National Park fighting some more trainers.

Yesterday:
Yesterday was the start of my Johto journey. I chose a Chikorita as my starter for I still have a close relationship with it. Well everything was going on as the storyline, I caught a lv 4 female Pidgey, a lv 4 female Caterpie, a lv 2 male Sentret, a lv 3 male Hoothoot, a lv 3 male Spinarak, a lv 3 male Geodude and a lv 3 male Rattata. My team during that time was a lv 11 Chikorita, a lv 10 Pidgey and a lv 4 Caterpie. I was still on my way to Violet city when I got sleepy. So I ended today's journey.

Today:
Ah, a fresh day after a good night sleep. Today I trained my Caterpie 'til it evolved and the training ends at lv 8 due to me having less time. So I went to Sprout Tower and finish the challenge there. I rushed over to the Ruins of Alph to try the first challenge. There, after the challenge, I saw a professor giving me a note about the Unown.

After that incident, I trained my Chikorita 'til it evolved at lv 16, my Pidgey 'til lv 16, and I caught a lv 6 female Mareep and a lv 6 female Hoppip. I feel the Mareep is perfect for my team, so I kept it and leave the Hoppip in my box. After making Mareep to lv 9, I challenged the gym leader and won myself my first badge. Then I went to the Pokemart to collect the egg from Proffesor Elm.

So now it's off to Azelea town, I trained my Bayleef 'til lv 18, my Pidgey 'til it evolved at lv 18, and my Mareep 'til it evolved and keep on training 'til lv 17, and I caught a lv 6 male Sandshrew. I reached Azelea town, with me can't wait for the balls Kurt make.

So during the Slowpoke incident I caught a lv 6 male Slowpoke and my Flaafy reached lv 18. After the Slowpoke incident, I requested balls with Green apricots. Then I tried to challenge the gym, but I figured that I'm still not ready. So I'm heading to Ilex forest for the runaway Farfetch'd incident when Silver appeared. Well I have no regrets, my team immediately swept his team with Flaafy becoming lv 19 thanks to his Quilava. Then inside Ilex Forest I trained my Pidgeotto to lv 19 and my Bayleef to lv 19.

During the Farfetch'd incident the Togepi egg that I obtained hatched, and to my surprise it hatched female. I decided to keep her in my party.

Last I did was Defeated Whitney. her Miltank took out Quilava, Spinarak, and Gastly. I had to finish her with Roserade. I then watered a Sudowoodo and killed it befor my game could freeze! :/
 
I went and played some more on the Pokethlon. Quilava and Flaafy both got a few badges (?) before I went back to train my team, as my brother advised.
 
finally decided to start my new game on heart gold, i changed the plan of my new team to:

Cyndaquil >> Typhlosion
Bellsprout >> Victreebel
Hoothoot > Noctowl
Slowpoke > Slowbro
Voltorb > Electrode

still not sure about the final pokemon just yet, i might use a ground type such as Donphan, i decided to use pokesav to get 1 of every item (getting rid of everything but for a leaf stone to evolve Weepinbell later on)

once i've done that i will be going to pick my starter

Update: Been to see Mr Pokemon and got the Pokedex from Oak, went back to New Bark to see Prof Elm and my mom, rival showed me how to catch a pokemon and i caught a HootHoot (changed the DS clock so i could catch one) and training it to level 10 before i leave route 29

Heart Gold:

Finally made to the Pokemon League, I lost to Lance's Areodactyl so I'm training on route 26 and 27 untill my team is strong enough.

I caught all of my Ghost's for my squad except Banette. I just beat Bugsy with my female Gasty.

if i lose i will re train my team and challenge him again, i'll edit this post when i do beat the gym leader

Update: Just defeated Falkner, Pidgey went down in two hits but Pidgeotto kept using roost, in the end i got a critical hit using Ember and pidgeotto used tackle after this so i used another Ember, no change in my team from above apart from Quilava gaining a level in battle

Oh yeah, beat Jasmine. First few tries I wanted to use my Sudowoodo but it didn't work out... Thank God for Ampharos. Thunder Punch beats them all. And my good old Feraligatr KO'd Jasmine's Steelix. Cheers~

Trying to get Umbreon (or Espeon? Which one is better?). Desperate to find Move Relearner. Upset because I need a decent fire type AKA ENTEI on my team.

well i was waking to the cerulean cove when i saw misty and some other guy after he saw e he went running away like a pussy and them i think well looks like a gay guy cuz he just let hot musty there all alone
 
Well! My brother was nice enough to help me train up my dear Pokemon to higher levels! :D
Let's just hope he doesn't complete the whole game for me again... Like how he did to my Pearl...
 
Star_light's HeartGold Journal Part 2

I managed to catch that Farfetch'd, then I started training my Flaafy, Pidgeotto and Bayleef. They're currently at lv 20. Afterward, I trained my Togepi 'til lv 14, yet she still can't evolve, and caught a Zubat and an Onix.

After I trained Togepi, I went to Professor Elm with Togepi at my back. He gave me an Everstone, which I probably won't use in the future. Even if I want to breed natures, I barely understand Japanese.

Then I tried to train Metapod. It was going on smoothly, but no thanks to the wild Caterpie's String Shot. After gaining 2 more levels she hatched from her cacoon into a Butterfree, and evolved from one of my weakest party Pokemon into a powerhouse. I think I'll be keeping her in my party. After a while training she reached lv 12.

Current Team:

- Pidgeotto (female) lv 20
- Flaafy (female) lv 20
- Butterfree (female) lv 12
- Togepi (female) lv 14

I decided to transfer a Piplup from Platinum as my last Pokemon. But it'll take a while before I can acomplish that.
 
day 5 on my kanto tour and i decide to head to safron city i challenge the gym leader sabrina after taking a look at her i was astonish on her look all sorts of perverted ideas began to get to my head it i was able to beat her
 
Just beat the Rocket Executive Lance in the slowpoke well
(Totodile evolved before the battle)
Pidgey ko'd his team easy
Still training Spinarak which is a pain
I'll evolve Pidgey and try to train Spinarak a little more. Then I'll take on bugsy

Arrived in Goldenrod, been doing some training on Route 35, now going to heal my pokemon, defeat the trainers in the gym then heal again and finally challenge the gym leader (got to do the radio tower quiz first though)

I'm in Goldenrod City.

My Sentret named SCOUT evolved into Furret.

I went to Bug Catching Contest and I was there with Geodude lvl18, I encountered Butterfree, and quess what,
first it used Confusion Critical Hit!
Geodude's attack missed! (Rock Throw)
Confusion Critical again!
Geodude fainted!

Now I have to wait till Thursday!!!
 
I finally caught articuno which means i only have entai left to catch then i will have all of the catchable legendarys

if your playing on a ds couldn't you set you clock to 23:59, then let it change to Wednesday and do the same again to let it change to Thursday, this worked on Platinum when i wanted to catch a Drifloon so it should work with hg/ss (thats if your using a ds, i don't know about an emulator, i'm assuming it should work)

Edit: Just won a bug catching contest after catching a Pinsir, i also managed to catch a Weedle and a Scyther

22:07 Update:

Just beaten morty on my second attempt, this time his pokemon's hypnosis moves only hit once
