    The old thread is now over a month old so I thought it was time for a new thread. Got this approved by Bobandbill and here it is!

    It is simple just share recent happenings in HGSS only with the rest of PC.

    Rules
    -Try to make posts at least a couple sentences.
    -Don't Spam, Flame, etc.....all that stuff
    -This is only for HGSS traveling stories and that's all
    -Please don't post saying: "I don't have the game yet." We really don't care....

    Well today I...
    • Caught Groudon
    • Evolved my Charmandar.
    • Beat my rival with Typholosion again.
    • Saw how bad Arse Rt.4's slopes are. Why they are only there, I don't know.
    • Fighting Suciune as of now.
    So yeah. :]
     
    Caught Latias in Soul Silver (Enigma Crystal event) took around 15 balls, so not bad.
    Bred a bunch of crud pokemon (like Jynx) for the pokedex.
    More preparations for E4 Rematch (you'd think it'd be smooth sailing after beating Red...)
     
    After I got it a couple of weeks ago I went through and beat the elite four and got 16 badges, however now I have a problem because my team is neither strong enough to beat the Stronger elite four nor even Red.
    So what would you say the best option for training a team up levels in this situation is?
     
    • Caught Suciune
    • Got threw Dark Cave.
    • Caught Zapdos
    • Lost the rival double battle in Dragon's Den. D:

    • Trained her up
    • Evolved Vulpix
    • Beat Morty

    Not quite the correct thread, but I'll give you advice anyway.

    -Go back and defeat any trainers you missed
    -Trainer Rematches through the phone
    -Train at Mt. Silver
    -Gym Leader Rematches

    today I...

    caught a few random pokemon for my pokedex
    Went to the park for the bug catching contest
    Went to catch Articuno, mission aborted due to having brought the wrong team to do so.
     
    I traded a bunch of pokemon from pearl to HG, including Mew since I can't seem to get him through wi-fi. I was a bit surprised to see all their stats, as well as names, show up in English. I should have expected that because they did something like in Pearl, but I never experienced trading with different language versions before. It was pretty cool.
     
    I got tyrouge from the karate master today. And walked around Johto. I love that place. :]
     
    -Caught lugia
    -Got to Kanto
    -Got trough Victory road
    -Smashed my rival with my Feraligatr lvl60 :P

    EDIT:
    -Beat the E4
    -Beat Lance
    -Going to Kanto!
    PS: I got through the whole JOTHO region with my Feraligatr only !!! YaY!

    Was just wonderin' through Viridian Forest because the music there is awesome.
    While I was there, I happened to catch myself a Timid, Female Pikachu.
    :).

    Still got quite a few things left to do, but I've been slightly lazy about playing SS.
    I could EV Train some Pokémon, but I honestly don't feel like it right now.
     
    There is a girl blocking Whitney's gym, so I taught my Mareep thunder and battled a strong lass in the park. She had oddish and cubone.
    How often can you say, I met a beautiful girl in the park today, and she had a pet with a skull on its head that threw bones at my ladybird and goldfish? Srsly?
     
    I finally got Natsume's PokeGear number! I remember she was in Olivine City, but she was actually AT the harbor, not near the harbor house. That's why I never got to her...

    As the old saying goes, "First is the worst and second is the best." Well I decided to start my second playthrough of my Soul Silver version since I was obviously getting no where. I was originaly going to do it as a mono species playthrough, but the decided on duo species, then decided to go back to mono species, but finally decided to settle on duo species.

    This is what I did last night

    12-29-09
    -Started the game.
    -Picked male character and named self Jon.
    -Made my way to Prof. Elm's lab.
    -Picked Chikorita.
    -Realized I made a mistake because I forgot to save so I could soft reset.
    -Did everything all over again.
    -Soft Rested a few times to get a male, impish, Chikorita.
    -Went to Cherry Grove.
    -Got stopped by some old guy and he made me follow him......0.o
    -He showed me the Poke Center, Poke Mart, Route 30 (?), the sea (as you can see), and.....his house..........0_o......
    -Got a new pair of shoes and the map card
    -Went to Mr. Pokemon's house and got Pokedex.
    -Beat the rival
    -Named him Silvr
    -Traded Chikorita over to my Pearl to EV train
    -Traded Bibarel and Charizerd as HM slaved over to SS along with a random Tyrouge
    -Together they were holding a nugget, amulet coin, and leftovers.
    -EV trained Chikorita in HP and evolved it.

    This is what I did today

    12-30-09
    -EV trained Bayleef 144 in Defense and 114 in Attack
    -Traded it back over to SS holding another nugget
    -Made it to Violet City and beat everyone in the Sprout Tower and got the TM for Flash.
    -Beat the Violet Gym
    -Got the Old Rod
    -Made it through Union Cave and to Azeala Town
    -Drove the Rockets out of Slowpoke Well
    -Beat the Azaela Gym
    -About to go beat Silvr again.

    12-30-09
    -Beat Silvr for the second time.
    -Decided it was time to go find the second member of my team.
    -Went to Violet City to catch some Poliwags, but after catching a few I decided just to trade an egg over from Pearl.
    -Traded an egg over and before I could hatch it my other egg from Elm hatched. It was a sassy, male, Togepi.
    -Hatched Poliwag, modest, female, water absorb.
    -Traded Poliwag back over to Pearl to EV train.
    -EV trained Poliwag in 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

    Just defeated Morty and his quadruplet Channelers/Mediums.

    I'm on the right track to evolve my Quilava, which is Level 33, holding a Shell Bell and using Swift, Quick Attack, Rock Smash and Flame Wheel!

    I left my Hoppip and Mareep in the Daycare for so long that they're probably Level 26--but I'm not getting them back until they're Level 30. :D

    LOVE THE NEW 3D FEATURES AS WELL AS ECRUTEAK IN AUTUMN :D :3
     
    Here is what I've don in the past few days.

    12-31-09
    -Made it through the Ilex Forest after doing the Farfetched puzzle.
    -Beat all the trainers up to Goldenrod.
    -Got Kotone's, Day Care Guy's, and Day Care Women's phone numbers.
    -Traded Poliwhirl over either before or after all this.

    1-1-10
    -Caught a male Sentret and traded it to Pearl to breed.
    -Used one of the female offspring that was Jolly nature to breed with ditto to get a better Jolly Sentret.
    -Hatched a Jolly, male, Keen Eye Sentret.
    -EV trained Sentret in 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe.
    -Evolved Sentret while training.
    -Traded it back to Soul Silver.

    1-2-10
    -Beat all the trainers at that route after Goldenrod and before the National Park.
    -Beat all the trainers in the National Park.
    -Beat all the trainers in the underground.
    -Got radio card. (I couldn't really remember all the answers but I thought it was yes, yes, no, yes, no and I was right)
    -Beat all the trainers between the National Park and the Sudowudo.
    -I nisknamed my Furett Zhu
    -I was planning on nicknaming my Bayleef, Caesar, but I forgot about the five character rule.
    -I couldn't come up with a nickname for Poliwhirl.
