This is a thread where you can discuss anything that happened in the Johto Region, from Ash seeing Suicune, to Ash, Misty, and Brock going their seperate ways.

Don't you think people would want to discuss different things that happened in johto in different threads? Most people will just ignore this thread and make a seperate thread... But hey I liked the johto episodes, not alot of them because most of the episodes were just fillers :\ I liked the episode with the ninetales whos owner looked like brock! The ninetales was BOOM ;) XD

I am not sure about UK. You are going have to check yourself. I know it is on in the US. Try to check the UK.

I think my favorite episodes were the ones where Eusine appeared, and in general, I liked the ones in season 3, The Johto Journeys, because Johto was still new, and Ash hadn't been there for three seasons.

I hated this series, and this was when I stopped watching pokemon (still love playing the games though). Seriously, every second episode was some lame filler with exactly the same formula. Ash/Misty/Brock would discover a new pokemon, Team Rocket would try and catch said pokemon, Ash saves the day. No storyline advancement, no character development. This is why I liked Digimon a lot more because you had to watch each episode to keep up with the storyline.

And what ever happened to the GS ball?

I especially liked the Pokemon and the people in it.

It was an abondened plot device that was suppose to be used in a Celebi related episode, but they decided to use the time-traveling elf for a movie instead. It's currently at Kurt's, where he will spend all of eternity trying to get it to open.

So after that whole season they decided just to scrap the idea?

The other thing as well is that Ash got rid of all his pokemon that everyone loved in season 1, eg Squirtal and Charizard. Im still waiting for Ash to collect his Primeape he promised to return for.

So after that whole season they decided just to scrap the idea?

Not exactly. At first they had to make closure in Johto with Celebi. But finally they went with idea to give Celebi into a movie and completely scrapped the GS Ball idea.
