Johto Remake !?!?

as most of you know diamond and pearl are coming up, they will most likely make a 3rd game with it, similar to ruby, saphhire and emerald. but this cant be the only ds/pokemon game. what will the next game after this be, because they will probably make d/p the next game then the 3rd to go with d/p. So will it be a johto region game because that is the only region without a remake, i hope i'm right, i have never played a johto game.
