    PokéCommunity is currently seeking volunteers for the ROM Hacking and Game Development teams. Interested in making an impact on the future of ROM Hacking on PokéCommunity? Then read on!

    Please note that as with all our applications, this is a volunteer position. Successful applicants will be granted a PokéCommunity staff role and access to the staff forums.


    What is the position, and what are the responsibilities?
    Based on preference, you'll be added to the staff team of either the ROM Hacking or Game Development sections (no longer accepting Game Development apps) on PokéCommunity. You'll be tasked with not only keeping the forum clean and organized but also, just as importantly, discussing ways to grow and promote your designated forum.


    What are we looking for?
    We're looking for someone with experience in ROM Hacking. Please note - while activity in the section is not required, nor are you required to have an active game, it certainly helps.

    When will applications close? How many members are you looking to promote?
    We will close applications when we feel we have found the right candidate(s). This can be as little as a week or as long as a month. We will close and edit this thread once suitable candidates have been found. The amount of new staff we promote will depend on the applications we receive.


    Application questions
    1. Do you have experience in ROM Hacking? Have you worked on a ROM Hack before? Which one?
    2. Part of your responsibility will be to check threads submitted to the forum by members that are awaiting moderator approval, are you familiar enough with the rules to appropriately approve and unapprove these threads?
    3. How long have you been a member of PC? If promoted, how much time do you feel you can dedicate to your role?
    4. Why do you think you'd be a good fit for the ROM Hacking team?
    5. What ideas for improving the ROM Hacking forums do you have?
    6. (Optional) Feel free to include anything else you feel would be relevant to this application.
