    How do people join your fan club/group or whatever it's called?
     
    At the bottom of all their discussion topics is a "Join Group" button. So select that and you should be in.
     
    Fan club? like social groups?
    or fan club thread?

    If it's a fan club thread, make a simple fanclub thread in the clubs section (or if it's a Pokemon fan club in the Pokemon club section) and have a set rules, password etc.
    then people will ask to join it and you accept them.

    If it's a social group just create a group in the social groups part and people click on the "Join Club" link in that social group.

    I think that's what you're looking for to be answered, I'm not sure though.
