Hello People!
Now I'm here to help you in your Lv UP "quest". Here, I'll show you my way to Lv UP Pokemons. Any suggestions will be welcomed!
It will work on Platinum
But it may work on Diamond/Pearl too
Step 1 - EXP Multipliers:
Now I'm here to help you in your Lv UP "quest". Here, I'll show you my way to Lv UP Pokemons. Any suggestions will be welcomed!
It will work on Platinum
But it may work on Diamond/Pearl too
Step 1 - EXP Multipliers:
Everybody want to Lv UP their Pokemon efficiently and fast. There's 2 ways to double your EXP points, and I'll explain both. If you do these 2 methods, your EXP will be multiplied by 4x!!
- Transfer to Another Game: First and easiest, you only need to transfer your desired Pokemons to another game pak, then every time that your Pokemon earn EXP, you'll receive 2x EXP. (Note: The 2x EXP only work if you Lv UP your pokemon on the traded game pak (Different OTs) )
- Lucky Egg: This one is very hard, because you need to capture a Chansey holding that item, and the drop rate of this item is 5%. But if you find one, just give it to your Pokemon to hold. Every EXP earned will be multiplied by 2x too.
Step 2. - Vs. Seeker
Vs. Seeker is a powerful key item that make trainers battle you again. As you know, when you defeat a trainer Pokemon, you earn more EXP than you defeat a wild Pokemon at same Lv.
- [*]How it work?
You need to be close from a trainer to use it. When you use it, you will listen a "plim plim plim plim". If the trainer want to battle you again, 2 exclamation marks will appear above his/her head. Then just talk to him/her to battle. If you want to use it again, you need to walk 100 steps to recharge it's battery
Step 3. - Location
There's 2 great locations in Pokemon Platinum. These locations have 2 trainers. I'll explain both:
- Route 229: When you exit Resort Area, you'll see 2 trainers, use your bike, Register you Vs. Seeker, use it close to the 2 trainers. If the exclamation marks appear, just talk to the trainer. If not, run left and right to recharge the Vs. Seeker Battery until these exclamation marks appear.
- Ace Trainer Felix (Left):
Dusclops Lv. 55
- Shadow Sneak
- Curse
- Will-o-Wisp
- Payback
Salamance Lv. 56
- Dragon Claw
- Air Cutter
(Never seen the other two moves) - Ace Trainer Dana (Right):
Mightyena Lv. 55
- Scary Face
- Crunch
- Sucker Punch
(Never seen the other move)
Kirlia Lv. 56
- Magical Leaf
- Psychic
(Never seen the other two moves)
- Ace Trainer Felix (Left):
- Route 227: Here's another good location. There's 2 good trainers and a house with a old woman, she let you rest. This place isn't good to recharge the Vs. Seeker, but the right trainer have a Tauros which give you aprox. 6500 exp (with lucky egg in another game pak)
- Ace Trainer Saul (Right):
Tauros Lv. 63
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
(Never seen the other two moves) - PKMN Ranger Felicia (Left):
Skiploom Lv. 59
- Worry Seed
- Bounce
(Never seen the other two moves)
Lopunny Lv.
- Dizzy Punch
- Bounce
(Never seen the other two moves)
- Ace Trainer Saul (Right):
Step 4. - Options
(Optional)
This doesn't help much, but it speed up your Leveling UP.(Optional)
- Go to Options
- Text Speed: Fast
- Battle Scene: Off
Leveling UP Low LV Pokemons
Well, all you have to do is put your desired Pokemon holding a Lucky Egg at first in your party, and when the battle begin, just switch it with a Higher LV Pokemon. (I think everybody know that, but who don't, this is an useful tip)
That's All!
