I got a question to ask you all. Are actual honest opinions considerded SPAM? I stated my opinion about a topic and I got a warning for it.

It's not supposed to. But if it's like flaming someone else's opinion, then it is.
 
The topic was about fake cards and I said it was going to teach little kids how to play the game improperly.

Improperly? Why would you want to do that?

And I think it might be spam because you just give your opinion if the cards are good or not. But to get a warning? That's a little too much, if you ask me. =/
 
The guy didn't even have cards to show. The first post had no images. It was about his sig. It said something about coming soon and they were talkin about a TCG thing and people were talking about it being fake with fake cards and stuff.

Hm.. that was kind of spam, people can take that as it sounds like you're giving a rude comment tied to your opinion. But, I must admit, giving a warning there was a little too much. Since it was your first time, right?
 
Yes it was, my first "rude" comment. Although how is that SPAM? It's not like I demolished someone's elses opinion by flaming them. It was just stating my own opinion and a person responded to it like a normal post. So I don't see how it would offend anyone because it is true, it would teach little kids the wrong way.

Person who responded: The kids would be playing by fake rules, so it is a possibility. But more likely than not, it has to do with fake cards, not the idiot's lantern.

Well, what can I say? Some take that as spam. You can't be "rude" in here, I guess. It's considered as spam if it contains flaming, offtopicness, swearing, etc.
 
There was no flaming. Not offtopic. Had no swearing. Maybe some people don't know what it is and automatically judge an opinion SPAM when they just take a first glance at it and not actually read what I was saying. Maybe they shouldve read what the topic was about and thought about what he was gonna post.
 
You really shouldn't question your warnings here, just take it up with the one who gave you the warning. o.o;

But I don't think you should've gotten a warning. O_o
 
Well I know, but I needed other opinions on it. He probably won't change his mind about it. I already sent him a PM back.

Well telling others about how that it's not supposed to be considered as spam, won't help much. Although, it was the mods' desician. (King Shuckle) Mods know what they're doing, I'm sure KS would have had a reason to give you a warning. Mods, S mods, Admins and AA don't give warnings out for nothing, y'know.
 
I guess. I just don't agree that's all. I guess I'll live with it.
 
It's just a warning anyway. I'm sure you won't get banned for something like that. o.o
 
So what is everyone up to right now? I finally checked my myspace, haven't done it for maybe a week or two. Browsed some other forums too. I'm really bored and it's only 1:18am.
 
It's 3:30am here. I'm just taking care of random stuff. I think I might hit the hay here soon though. -_-
 
Cool. I've just been chatting with randoms, listening to good music, being real bored. My ears are starting to hurt from these headphones. :[

Go and PM the Mod that gave it you. They'll give you a valid reason.
