1st Gen Just cried

I finally caught a kangaskhan for the first time in my life in the Safari Zone.

After trying for about i dunno 6 hours or so..

Wow what a moment.

I know how you feel. I had an similar experience with Tauros on my physical copy of blue, I was so happy and then my gameboy's battery died so after recovering I decided that I couldn't be bothered anymore and did the safari zone glitch.

I can't catch a Chansey at all. Only seen one and it ran straight away

cahnsey is in the cave where mewtwo is much easier to catch it there

6 hours? ... -spent over a week trying to get Chansey and still didn't- SIGH............

The Safari Zone is rough. I spent a few days in it. I caught Chansey by some miracle, and also got a Scyther, but that's all. I ran into like, 10 Tauros and they all fled so fast, as well as Kangaskhan.

i still need tauros but he is the hardest by far

When I was still looking for Chansey, I bumped into only two Tauros and one Kangaskhan. I can't imagine what my frustration would have been if either of those were what was I was actually looking for. ~_~

Funny thing, I caught Kangaskhan in all 3 versions, in addition to having a Scyther to trade to Blue and a Pinsir to trade to Red. I only got 1 Chansey in an old Yelow game, but traded it to Blue and ended up not seeing another one. Since I can trade that one Chansey between my Yellow and Red, my pokedex will still be complete. :) I agree, the Supervised Safari put me to tears on many frustrating occasions.
