4th Gen Just curious... first shiny?

My first shiny I found on accident while just playing through Pearl. I got a mild gastly in the Old Chateau. It was rather random xD

my first shiny was on LeafGreen. i was searching for Entei. when i went into the route above cereulean, a shiny caterpie appeared and i caught it. the next day, if found a shiny geodude while i was training that caterpie. and caught it too. wierd huh?
