Just how far ahead of us are they in Japan

How many weeks are in a month? >_> That's however many we get unless we skip that week.
 
I really don't like it when we take those breaks for the next season of Sinnoh...it just slows us down and brings us more behind...

Well yeah, but if they don't have breaks they have the Naruto and BLEACH issues they have with the manga. Except they can't make MORE fillers, they have to show reruns in which case people would complain a whole lot more.

I'm one of them...but I hope we do not get more than 19 episodes farther back...it would just be too much and the longer the wait is just to suspenseful!!!

You do know that there are other programmes that have to be be shown in Pokémon's timeslot? They can't continually broadcast Pokémon, because the show would begin to feel stale. And besides, hype can then be generated for the new season when it gets nearer to the first episode.

Not to mention the dub voice actors need time off... Lol

Exactly, I mean think about all those baseball games they have to showcase.
 
yeah I see what Erebus is trying to say now...I actually agree to it...now that u think of it, if pokemon were to be shown all the time without a break...there wouldn't be too much excitement as this is now...
 
Wow 19 episodes that IS a lot...Maybe the American schedule should be changed...IDK.
 
19 episodes is actually really, really close. Just think about other countries who get it about half a year later like the UK and Australia who apparently doesn't even have Battle Dimension yet :/
 
Again then we were too close then there would be re-runs and so many more complaints. I rather be behind so then we won't run into that problem.

I think the last episode shown on Jetix was the episode Jessie catches Megayanma, so about 10. Although they've stopped showing new episodes now, I think. I don't know because I'm watching them on freeview, and ITV has only just got Battle Dimension
