4th Gen Just opened up Soul silver, and I find a mew!

    Haven't played the game since it first came out. I start it up out of curiosity, and my team is a level 18 quilava, 18 pidgeotto, and a 17 Mew.

    I wanted to start all over again, but with this Mew I don't know if I should.

    How valuable is it anyway? And, more importantly, how did I get it? O.o
     
    Chances are you got it from the event in October of last year. If so, the OT should be FAL2010. I would save it by trading it somewhere else if you plan to start over, even if your only option is to transfer it one-way to Black or White.
     
    Yeah, there's no other Mew event that'll likely happen for at least a few years (and if so it'd be for 5th gen games only) so maybe getting someone to hold onto it for you and trade back to your new save file that you trust would be something to consider.

    If you have any other questions, please ask them in the Help thread sticky at the top of the section. I don't see what else could be suggested here besides 'don't bother' for people who dislike Mew I suppose... so closed.
