I was around when the first Pokémon games came out for Game Boy (Red, Blue, Yellow) and I played the 2nd Generation games as well. I did play a little bit of Generation 3 but after that I sold ALL of my games. Now I'm getting back into it and have a few questions (I only bought Emerald and Sapphire recently but plan to buy the rest again).

    1. Is there any way I can get the legendary Pokémon (Mew and all them) without going to those event things?
    2. And this is a really dumb question but oh well, how can I get an Azurill or whatever is the pre-evolution of Marill? I had it before but totally forget how to get it.

    1. The only legendaries that are available only from the game is Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre (in Emerald, it's possible to capture both, but if you use Sapphire, only Kyogre), the 3 Regis, Latios and Latias. In Sapphire, it's Latias, but in Emerald you can choose either of them, and the second Lati must be from the Nintendo event. Mew, Deoxys, Ho-oh, and Lugia can only be received through the event as well.

    2. Azurill cannot be obtained by normally just breeding. Take a female and male Marill and have the female hold a Sea Incense. Let them breed an egg, and it will hatch into an Azurill.

Damn I really want those Pokémon but I don't want to go to any events! I'll just have to get my friend to trade me.

    Thanks for your help.

Well, since this is answered (and there's a thread for questions), I'll go close it.

Next time, use the Simple Questions thread, okay? ^^
