    After a long talk with the staff I have decided to close PokemonRoms.tk. All content including Roms will be deleted at 14:00 GMT.
    The closure was brought on by a bit of a scuffle with Simone in another thread. Nintendo has also been informed of the closure and sent an email back ten minute later saying "we're glad!". Okay.

    So next up, requests. The domain name is paid for so I can't give that away. I'll give any of the content of the site including images etc to whoever wants them. Just post what you want here and i'll give it to you.

    I would just like to say thank you to Simone giving me (without knowing) the courage to confront the staff about this matter. It's been on my mind for years but the site continued anyway.

    Theres also no need to be rushing over to get the Roms because I already took them down. If anyone wants the freewebs account just ask here as well.

    Paid Items in Freewebs account:

    Unlimited bandwidth until 30/6/04
    Do not have to display any banners or advertisements until: 30/6/04

    It's all up for grabs. So am I. If you are looking for a experienced co-webmaster I'll help out on your site.

    Stalis, I'm glad i could help. But i don't want this to cause problems in the forum. I just do not want someone to get in trouble by having illegal content on your site. You seem like a very nice person. You can keep your site open, i just didn't want it posted all of PC :P.

    So, please if you feel that you want to keep it open. Please do so. I just don't want you getting in trouble with anyone.

    No, Simone, I've wanted to do this for a very long time. Possibly around 2 years but I've never had the courage to tell the staff about it. I was afraid I would recieve hate mail and the such. The site is gone and I think I'm a better person now. I just deleted all the content off my PC and the site so theres no going back. I'm free!!!
     
    thats a very nobel thing of you to do. its better to do that than to risk your butt in a lawsuit...
     
    I think he wants your domain. But here's a good think. Your site may say pokemonroms.com. You can still just make it a site with information. Not just roms and downloads, just start over with a new site. I will support it ^_^
     
    indeed it is, or even worse...get booted off PokeCommunity...AH the HORROR

    No I don't want the site anymore...can't be bothered. I'll just program a flash image gallery or something. You can have the host. But not the domain name. I don't have the domain PokemonRoms.com. Well I used to, but it was like $60 a year. Couldn't afford it.

    I actually do really appreachiate your help today Simone.

    And no. Before anyone asks. I DO have all the Roms, I Do have all the episodes but no ones getting them! The one reason is I like them.
     
    Thats good to hear, and you won't get booted off PC as you have done the right thing. But there was some discussion in the mod/admin lounge about people who have roms in there sigs and talk about it. Thats what brought this up. I think someone may be even getting banned for telling everyone a rom site.
     
    And I'm glad not to be part of that anymore *weep- tears running down the side of face*. A happy end to a story.

    Sorry about the double post again. The images and template and backgrounds will be deleted at 6pm GMT. You have less than 2 hours to request anything but ROMs.
     
    i checked and there is no files... did you delete them already???
     
    i know i was just wondering and im gonna turn the site into a page about how roms hurt nintendo.
     
    no offence....but really....how many websites do you actually have? It is at least 6 at my count
     
    i have 2. 2 main sites. i closed down pocket monsters because it didnt work out. after weeks of thought i decided to make a new one. i make sites as a hobby. if you notice a site most likely it my main site on a different host. i just found my permanate host. i closed down most of my sites
