    Is this a good moveset for a Jynx?

    Lovely Kiss
    Calm Mind
    Pyschic
    Ice Beam

    Jynx meets both her Psychic and Ice side ^_^
     
    That is the standard Jynx moveset, but it gets messed over by Houndoom.

    Jynx@Lum Berry
    EV: 252 Sp Att, 252 Speed, 6 Sp Def
    Lovely Kiss
    Ice Punch
    HP Water
    Psychic/Calm Mind.

    There, now you can hurt Houndoom (bear in mind they usually carry Lum Berry).
     
    Those 1.1 booster items don't pack that much punch to your attack at all. You're talking adding about 10 extra damage to attacks, when in one round with Calm Mind you can add 50% extra. Lum Berry gives Jynx some much needed protection against status, especially Paralyse because lack of speed is deadly for her.
     
    Fake tears work very well too in place of calm mind... both of them have their pros and cons, but I like fake tears more personally.

    You don't HAVE to have both STAB... depending on the team, you can take off psychic for other special moves, or even lovely kiss to be daring.
