Kadabra and its umm "appendage"

    Ok guys, ever since i saw a kadabra i wondered what the odd appendage between kadabras legs was, i mean even the females had it. Does anyone have any insight on what that thing is? It was not there in rby or gsc, it appeared in the third gen. So if you have any info, please post

    Although Reshiram's appendage is bigger, Kadabra is still a cool Pokemon. This appendage was still present in Gen 1, and here's a better picture detailing it.

    I believe this Pokedex entry might shed a little light on the matter.

    What I want to know is why he loses this appendage when he evolves into Alakazam...

    It didn't disappear. He's just wearing underwear now:

    Fun fact: Alakazam can learn Iron Tail even though it lost its tail when it evolved from Kadabra.
     
    More to the point.... what are those red lines above it?

    That makes a lot of sense , but they put them in the wrong place methinks :/
     
    It transformed from a boy, hmmm, thats a good answer but it still doesn't explain why the females have it. Well if Alakazam is wearing underwear, then abra must have a diaper on XD

    That dex entry makes me wonder where Abras came from o_0

    I think the real question is why would you want your Alakazam to know Iron Tail?
     
    Or...

    Maybe your making a big deal out of nothing and you forgot the classic formula for Manga monsters:

    Animal+Ability+Standing Upright+Random Stripes/Symbols/Appendages=Manga Monster

    So in other words...

    Fox+Psychic Powers+Standing Upright+Weird red Symbols/Weird cuffs and Appendages=Kadabra

    I wasn't aware that all Manga monsters had this appendage, this is something worth looking into...

    SUPER CONTESTS! It will dazzle the judges, since they'll have no idea how it pulled off that attack in the first place.
     
    Has anyone here paid any attention to Sudowoodo? Just take off his legs and that silly little thing off his head and you will see what I mean.
