Kat's Pokemon Daily Giveaway

Demon - I read it earlier and forgot to respond, but I want to say this so everyone can see.

I really like doing this, its fun to do this little giveaway, it makes me feel good that I can get some people some really hard to get pokemon.

Having said that, I won't be doing requests for specific pokemon. The reason being it is a slippery slope. I have all of the GBA games but those legendary and event pokemon are on Emerald (where I can clone), now it only takes me about 15-20 minutes to clone the 6 I do for the daily giveaway and then go to pal park and migrate them but if I had to also move them over to my other GBA cartridges and migrate from there also (which I *have* done for people when I was trying to do requests) it takes MUCH longer.

I have a husband and children (one of which is 2 years old which is the main reason i have Voice Chat off when I do trades lol) and a house to take care of AND a game I like to play (for myself) so I can't/don't want to put in that kind of time for it.

I really do wish I could help everyone out with specific requests but I can't...it would become too much like a job and so thats why I came up with this method. I am sure that its disappointing to miss it or whatever but I hope to be doing it for a while.

So...to sum up, please don't send me PM's and such asking for me to get you specific pokemon. I just can't cover everyone's requests as much as I wish I could.

I just hope that the site wont be screwing around tomorrow like it did yesterday... i think someone up there is telling me not to get free Pokémon :P
 
Lol when i 1st joined this forum (bout 3 years ago) there was about.....40 members and the forum NEVER had errors. I guess thats the price of expansion xD

That's completely understandable. I know what it's like to have a lot of responsibility at home. Having a job, a live-in partner and having to take care of the house as well as finding time to relax is sometimes difficult, without having to feel obligated to dedicate time and effort to other people over a game. And that's without me having any children, either. XD

And I think everyone understands why you can do just six per day. Besides, it's kinda exciting trying to be one of the first six to reply. It's a little like a lottery. :D

Of course, it'd be more fun if this forum was stable. :<

Actually, there were more than 3,000 members when you joined. But, yeah, there were never many errors.
