    These are some of my sprites as i'm having trouble finding my others...so here are some revamps that i did earlier....plus the darkrai was based around a deoxys.

    NO-one is allowed to use these without permission. :D

    Also everything you see by me has been made in paint.;)

    These are actually really nice. Zapdos has a bit of problems with its outline. Overall, these are sort of like recolors, I mean, you haven't edited the shading a bit at all.
    Try to get the sprite just with outlines, and then work from there.
     
    Thanks for the advice here are a few more ive just completed and added to my game
    :D also there is the sheet that i made that compares the originals to the revamps.

    BTW if anyone wants a sprite revamped i'll happily do it for them, just tell me what pokemon you want and i'll do it. Also these sprite's have been created to work in ruby/sapphire or fire red/leaf green some of each, can't remember....lol and yes the darkrai is from pokemon platinum. Ive got more but i would like some more comments first.

    Not what I call contructive criticism.


    Anyways, Keitaro10, you're still revamping like before (as in using the shading from the original sprite) which is not revamping. The way to revamp is to ctually edit the sprite completely, then add in the colors, AND new shading. They're obviously a lot better than most people, though I'll tell you that. :)
     
    I attempted to use your advice to make a charmeleon, charmander & pikachu what do you think?? :D

    :) Yay! I rembered to come back! Obvious improvement coming along. Maybe you should try to do some scracth spriting? Start with some simple like, apples, or bananas.....or fish. ^^; That's how I started out....I think.

    i am attempting some scratches at the moment not going too bad (in other words They Suck...lol)

    Hehe apples, bananas, fish Lol

    ill have to redo them cause i did them on my m8s computer and it took a psycho and lost most data... ill experiment but it might be a week or so before i post because of homework (german maths english and history) its not easy and i can get bored easily so it will probably be l8 (as usual lol)
     
    :P.....well, I understand about life and stuff..............

    But hey, homework is pretty boring now.

    Well, anyways, I wouldn't redo them. I'd do something different, I mean, you'll lose interest much quicker when you're repeating a sprite (at least to me) than doing something new.
     
    yeah i suppose youve got a point i can post (not right now as im on my wii)my old (first) scratches like my avatar was my 2nd ever scratch.

    it was all decently nicely done...up untill that last post, where it's completely random...um...yes...randomness... the first one looks like a cool pop are of a haunter, but the last two just plain and simple stink... they have no form, real concept, or decent shading/outlining...

    everything else though seems to be summed up be everyone else...

    keep spriting!
     
    There is one problem on the last sprite the lighting is facing forward the lighting chould be in the top left hand corner but that is only for the last sprite everything else is good
    Like lytar I dont know why but I just do.
     
    thanx for the criticism it will help me out.

    also i like randomness & theyre like my 3 4 & 5 scratches
