I know, I need to work on scratching... alot. xD I really have only done about... 5? I'll try to find some of the others.

For the Pikachu/Munchlax, I prefer Munch-chu. It's funnier. xD

cooley, Anastasia.R, you need to be more specific when critiquing sprites so that people may learn their strengths and weaknesses.

So yeah, it's good that you're trying to do scratches. Shading is often the biggest hurdle, and I often find it best to try and emulate the shading found on similar sprites, like for the second one, try and copy Muk's shading.

1st scratch
Well it's shade needs help. The body and the wings could use some more shading. The eye is a bit odd looking, but it's me. :P


2nd scratch
I'm going for a wild guess you were trying to overshade it. Well to me it's a bit off. If there is a neck then maybe adding some shade under it could help. :) There is 3 diffrent outline colors, but it's a bit hard to tell unless you zoom in.

I gotta say you pick some good colors for both of the scratches! If you work a bit harder on shades and outline colors that could help alot in other kinds of spriting. You're pretty good for a stater. ^^

PS The shading is awsome on your new rock scratch! ;)

Nope, there's no neck.

No no t's okay to have 3 colors of outline, but it's hard to see it that's all.

Hm ... The body shaing is the same as before ... The wings have better shading then last time!

PS It's good you didn't use the green from that paint box!
