Sup people. With the approval of Toothy, I am opening up my Team Workshop, named "Khold's House of Hard Knocks". This thread is for you members to submit your teams to me, for me to rate and/or fix them. Keep in mind, this is MY workshop, so no other members are allowed to rate and/or fix. This is for me to look at submitted teams and help the submitter.

Also note, that there is a difference between rating and fixing. Rating is giving an approval rating, and analyzing your team's weakness. If you don't want changes, but just want my point of view on your team, tell me you want a rate. If you want changes made to your team, tell me with your team post and I will do my best to fix your team.

So, here to the guidelines:

Tell me...

1-whether it is a rate or a fix, or both.
2-what version it is for (R/B/Y, G/S/C, R/S, or FR/LG)
3-if it is for NB or Gameboy
4-if it is a Under Used/Borderline, Overused, or any other type of Special Team (like a Color Coded Team or a Letter Team).

I've probably battled lots of people here on netbattle...I always use this team...and yes I get irritated and disconnect/forfeit a lot :\

Ok, just to let you know, I am on vacation, and therefore don't have my computer, so in turn, I do not have NB, so I don't have my main team resource. I will do my best to give you some help right now, since I don't want you hanging around for too long and me not fixing your team in the least. I will get back to this post when I get home, but for now, here are some tips/changes just based on my memory and whatnot.

1. Glalie@Leftovers
Relaxed Nature
- Explosion
- Ice Beam
- Taunt
- Spikes

Taunt is a little too risky for Glalie. Not many non-attacking moves will be used against him, and that means that mostly damaging attacks will be used. So, there isn't really much for Taunt to cancel out (since it only prevents non damaging attacks from being used that turn). The only common attack that isn't used for damaging that would probably be used against Glalie would be Rapid Spin, but it DOES do damage, so Taunt is useless there too. I say, unless you have max speed and a speed helping nature, go with another attack. If you DO have max seed and a speed upping nature, then I guess he can also be your Sub haxxer, so the stupid Sub users can't Sub up =\ But then again, its hard to tell who uses Sub, and if it is predictable, they most likely are faster (see Jolteon and Aero for reference)

2. Machamp@Lum Berry
Adamant Nature
- Cross Chop
- Rock Slide
- HP Ghost
- Bulk Up

I'd say, attach Choice Band, and put Aerial Ace/Earthquake over Bulk Up, and give him max Attack and Speed EVs, and make him Jolly. Since he has great attack, and decent HP, a Choice Banding finisher for your team would be a good choice =]

3. Octillery@Petaya Berry

- Thunder Wave

- Ice Beam/Flamethrower

Looks GREAT. Put Lefties over Petaya, tho, since he is very fragile =[ Split the EVs in both attacking stats. And one more thing... Skarmory says HIE to Flamethrower ;0

Erm, Xatu does this much better. But try Night Shade over Psychic, so you can focus the EVs into HP and speed or something.

5. Meganium@Leftovers
Careful Nature
- Counter
- Leech Seed
- HP Flying
- Substitute/Protect

HP:Flying...why? For Heracross? He'd die anyway. Body Slam over HP and Rest over Sub. If you have Counter/Mirror Coat, Rest is a must. And also, max out HP EVs and put some in Def and a few in Speed, to outspeed others of your base speed. You COULD try Toxic over Leech Seed, since Toxic will last after the switch, and when they see you have Counter, they won't keep their monster in for much longer.

6. Ampharos@Leftovers
Sassy Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

I like Thunder just cuz of the added power, and he will die quickly without a Sub up, but Thunderbolt is definitely the safe way to go. Pretty standard, make it a stat equalizing nature (no boosts and losses).


Sorry for the lack of fixing detail, but as I said, I don't have NB, so I can't get a good look at each monster. I do know Cloyster does Glalie's job MUCH better, and you could probably go with Electabuzz over Ampharos if you ever want more Speed in return for the S.Attack power.

Also, please follow guidelines 2,3,&4 next time, so I can better help your team by knowing your needs.

I will not be able to update and fix all teams within a few days. I may need a week or maybe two, depending on my schedule. I'll do my best to keep up, but I may not be able to get to every team right when I see it. If I fix another team before yours, don't worry, I'll get to it as soon as I can. Sometimes, I'll see a team I'll prefer to fix just because I like it.

Sceptile doesn't last long enough for Leech Seed, so put Crunch over Leech Seed. If you don't wany to start with him, drop Sub for Dragon Claw, for an all out Special Sweeping set.

Rest somewhere plz. And adjust the EVs, more in Attack and less in Def =\ I suggest Forretress over Donphan, as you will read below, so put 4 in Speed to outspeed other same-base speeds, and have Spikes/Explosion/Earthquake/Rapid Spin for your set. Max Attack and put the rest in HP.

Weezing w/leftovers
Impish, EVs: same as donphan

Weezing is a better Def Wall, so I would suggest dropping Donphan for Forretress. Anyway, for Weezing, put some Special Attack EVs until his Special Attack is 240, max out HP EVs, and put the rest in Def and put a +Def-Attack nature. Thunderbolt over Fire Blast, and Haze over Sludge Bomb. If you see a Dragon Dancer, send in Weezing, Burn them, then Haze their stats away ;0

Snorlax w/leftovers
Adamant, EVs: 252hp,252attack,6specialdefense
substitute
focus punch
shadow ball

erm...EVs need work, but I'll have to fix them some time later. Drop Ice Beam for Refresh. You'll need it. And if you are screwed to Suicune, Vaporeon, and Lapras a lot, then put HP:Electric over Refresh. Refresh just makes Milotic more of a wall.

Not a bad team. Needs lots of work though. I'll hook you up with EV spreads later. 6.3/10 before the fix.
