I've found this to be quite a good lead. Intimidate usually warrants a switch in the physically-minded leads, and a CB pursuit is a nice way to see them off. Standard Arbok Really

SpecsKing, quite handy when most people expect the infamous MixKing. Plus this team is severly lacking in special-offensive, and this guy has great coverage.

I always found the NP sweeper was so underpowered, so I thought I'd give Smogon's "Free Hits" variant a go. Hypnosis is always handy, fake-out can stall for Weezing's WoW or Hypno's Toxic, and the other two just hurt stuff =]

Almost Standard Hypno. I have Persian for hypnosis so he gets toxic over it. Light screen helps cope with special attacks..

Representing the often forgotten Butch and Cassidy, we have LO Primape. Nothing special, just another standard :P

So yeah, rate me up. All advice is welcome, but do not suggest anything that wasnt used by team rocket in 1st gen. Thanks =]

This actually would be better as a lead imo, with fake out and all.

Almost Standard Hypno. I have Persian for hypnosis so he gets toxic over it. Help needed on the final slot. I would go Light screen, the rest of your team dies to sp. attks.

So yeah, rate me up. I myself am concerned about having 3 choice items, so would like opinions on which you think should be dropped. Thanks =]

This team is very Mr. Mime weak, you could bring in Absol to counter that.

Yeah I got a friend to test this on shoddy, it did seem to buckle to CM users. Light screen it is on Hypno, but I really wanna stay within the realms of classic team rocket here- The only reason I'll be making this team is for nostalgia value. Thanks anyhoo =]

Before I make little nitpicks, I applaud you for making such a creative team.

Now, as for Arbok, I always found Thunder Fang OR Glare to be useful on the CB set. Bulky waters not named Gastrodon or Quagsire won't like Thunder Fang, and if they are going to leave, then the thing coming in to tank your attacks will not like being paralysed. I'd go one of them >>> Pursuit, but it's still a good set.

For Persian, I'd go Silk Scarf >> Life Orb. Losing health over a little Fake Out isn't really fun, and Silk Scarf already boosts that by 20% at the expense of no health.

I always prefer Hitmonlee, Chan >> Ape, but my opinion is not really important. I always Scarf my Primeape, since it makes a decent revenge killer. Having 3 Choice users will hinder your sweeping prowess, so you could opt for LO. Still, it's no big deal.

Overall, this team has a little trouble with special attacks, but it's not a huge concern.

3 Choicers on a team means you're going to have a lot of trouble if the opponent uses Spikes for entry damage (Stealth Rock isn't a big worry though, and you can absorb Toxic Spikes easily.)

Lacking on the special defensive side, but great offense to cover it. You're going to have to deal with Psychics, and I know this is quite weird, but Girafarig can come in on a Specs Shadow Ball, as weird as it might seem, and start causing pain. It'll have a rough time coming in, and Primeape can outspeed it, but it could give you some troubles. Fortunately, Girafarig is as rare as a shiny Arceus, so it's no major deal.

Props for the Team Rocket theme though.

Cant say it isnt bad cant say its the best but keep up the good work i rly dont have ne suggestions on move sets or pokemon except persian and arbok the people who commented on them u might want to take their advice arbok isnt the best starter pokemon to usebest thing to do is switch the two positions.

Thanks for the imput guys (Except for Mexirican, who didn't make any sense at all), the following changes have been made:
*Persian has recieved silk-scarf, after Vance suggested it I realised how Fake-Out was only base 40 :P
*Hypno has recieved Light Screen, to compensate for the low SpDefs that almost all of my pokemon have.
*Primape has recieved life orb, to reduce my reliance on Choice users.
