Correct me if in wrong, but as I understand it there's no way to look into the coding of x and y yet.
Because of this, couldn't they hypothetically release Z (or X/Y2) with a handful of pokemon that we've never seen, ones that were sneakily already contained within the coding of X and Y, and still have them tradable because of this?
I don't know much about these cartridges, so bare with me, but doesn't this seem plausible? Seems like a great way to exploit the 'new' system
