Hello I'm planning on running a Nidoking so I need advice,

    [PokeCommunity.com] King of Posions, Nidoking!
@ Life Orb / Expert Belt
    Ability: Rivalry
    EVs: 148 Atk / 252 Spd / 108 SAtk
    Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Ice Beam / Dragon Pulse
    - Earthquake
    - Megahorn

This is how it will work. Megahorn gets rid of Psychic, Dark & Grass, Substiute is there to avoid damage, Thundebolt is to get rid of Water & Ice types & Earthquake is there just for general useage

If you're going to run Substitute, you're better off using Nidoqueen. You spelled Adamant wrong, and most importantly, Naughty (or Naive) Nature is what you want to use if you're running Thunderbolt.

In other words, Nidoking should look a little more like this:

Nidoking @ Life Orb / Expert Belt
    Ability: Rivalry
    EVs: 148 Atk / 252 Spd / 108 SAtk
    Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Ice Beam / Dragon Pulse
    - Earthquake
    - Megahorn
This is how a REAL mixed Nidoking looks. It will KO Gyarados with Thunderbolt (assuming it doesn't have Wacan Berry) and hurts other Water Types. It NEEDS Ice Beam for those annoying Dragons (and on a UU Perspective, Altaria will piss it off).

Use Ice Beam. It has better type coverage.

i think this would look better with a choice scarf and a diffrent nature

either give it choice scarf, or go with life orb for a +Sp Atk Nature.

i run Rash with Flamethrower, SuckerPunch, Earth Power, and some filler for the last slot. he doesn't need that much speed when he can decently take out faster ghosts + starmie with suckerpunch. with rivarly, he does some real decent damage to opponents.
