Kingdom Hearts EX (with a Pokemon World!)

For those of you who don't know me (read: everyone) I write fanfics and RP. But, I have an even bigger passion: Game Making. I'm not that experienced a coder, but still like to use the easier programs, like the RPG Maker series. But to the point...

At some point, I plan on writing an epic crossover fanfic called "Kingdom Hearts EX" but I also want to try to make a game to go with it. Obviously, seeing as this is a pokemon website and I'm a pokemon fan, there will be a pokemon world, and pokemon characters will feature heavily into the storyline. But, I need a little input...

I'm debating on whether or not to use anime characters in the game. Stuff like Naruto and the like, and the pokemon anime (know that if I do use the anime, it'll probably be based around one of the older seasons.) Anyone got any helpful suggestions? Also...

-If any of you are familiar with Advance Wars, then you know what the Black Hole Army is. One of my major plot points is an alliance between Black Hole and Team Rocket, in order to combat the heartless menace that threatens both. (and because a Hawke-Giovanni team-up would be awesome.)

-Also, one of the bad plans is for the main villian (who possesses the ability to command the Heartless) plots to convert Dialga and Palkia to heartless, then use them to bring his greatest plan to fruition.

-The game features multiple playable parties at different points, and the Pokemon world's main storyline party would be Andy of Advance Wars, Yuki of Grandia 3 (if I can use him), Ash (if anyone wants to see him included (remember: no voiceovers!)), and possible Naruto, if no one has a problem with anime.

(Pokemon World Summary)
-Lash captures Kain (an original character, a human-turned-Pikachu) and studies him. However, Kain escapes, and Lash sets out to retreive him. The Team Rocket trio find him first and, excited at the prospect of a talking Pikachu, decide to try to capture him. Lash arrives moments later (or more accurately, crashes an APC into a nearby tree, and stumbles from the wreakage.) Lash, with assistance from the human gorilla Flak, fights and defeats the trio, but rather than launch them, as traditional, she decides to take them prisoner and reveal their attack on her (their new ally) to Giovanni. James explains that it would be pointless, since Giovanni already hates them, but rather than turn them loose, she decides to use them as guinea pigs for her less-than-humane experiments. Shortly after she arrives back at the base with Kain and the new prisoners, however, she is greeted by a familiar face: Kindle. The beehive-hairdo'd snob proceeds to insult lash and antagonize Jesse, and reveals her purpose: Hawke has reinstated her as a CO! Lash is furious, and as Kindle leaves, Lash and Jesse find common ground: their mutual dislike of Kindle. A ticked Lash punches a nervous guard who approaches her in the face, and storms off, leaving the trio tied up in the hangar (to James's despair.)
Lash confronts Hawke, who explains his motivation. With the new alliance, the influx of Rocket fighters has left them with a CO shortage. Plus, as Hawke points out, they need someone expendable, in case there's "trouble." Lash rescinds her anger, and compliments Hawke on his ingenuity.
Meanwhile, the current player party (consisting of Andy, Yuki, and Naruto) searches for the antagonist, whilst trying to uncover his plans on this world.
Ash is trying to catch a wild pokemon, but Heartless appear suddenly and attack. mistaking them for Pokemon, he tries to capture one, but when it promptly destroys the pokeball, he realizes these are no ordinary foes. Pikachu and the others fight them off, but more just keep coming. The player party arrives, and helps Ash defeat the Heartless. <More updates in a while.>

Also, I NEED NAME SUGGESTIONS FOR THE POKEMON WORLD. BE CREATIVE!

Please don't put Naruto, or any other random anime characters in the game. Characters from the Pokémon anime are fine.

Different playable parties is something I've always liked as a gameplay mechanic. Keeps things fresh and varied, so kudos for that.

To mix unrelated styles, you have to create something that's new and radically different. You can't just throw a bunch of characters together, make up some random story, and make a decent game out of it. It takes a lot more than that.

A lot of people have told me to skip non-Pokemon anime, so I will.

Also, it does have a coherent story. One of the biggest possible draws is that it features Riku and Kairi (yes, Kairi) as the primary protagonists. Sora is playable too, but he joins up later in the game.

I'm experimenting with a CoM-style engine, but we'll see where that ends up. I don't want to use the basic engine, but I will if I have to.

I'm a big crossover fiend. I've got a decent plotline set up (still working out some kinks though) and a few special gameplay elements to try to incorporate (a Materia-system, a Limit Break system, and a Team Combe system, to name a few.)

Of course, this is all still abstract; I want a little more experience before I try this. I just want plot feedback.

I would personally make a KH side game that takes place exclusively in the Pokemon world but then o/c you wouldn't be able to use a keyblade with a pokemon battle system, so CoM does make a lot more sense, maybe in a TCGGB/CoM kind of thing I don't know... also the pokemon world should be Pok(accent e)world
