Knocking Pokemon... Should I flame?

I'm double-posting please excuse it, I don't have time to go back and edit, I won't do it again.
I need to make a note here, make sure that if you reply to that article that you send it to the right address. And it might be helpful to know that that's an old article and the author might not still feel the way, although I doubt there's been a change. I e-mailed the author just now to see if he or she really wrote that and if they still feel that way. If they do I'll send them my reply. And I'll post their's here. I really need to pay more attention...

I wouldn't email them anyway, If they know you like pokemon they might send you a virus!

Pish-posh. Email them and never open another letter they send you! This eliminates the threat of viruses and such.
I love you're email response! It is truely a Pokemon-lover thing to say. That guy was a creep, going on about junk that didn't even matter. It's sick how some people get thier kicks out of making fun of other people's likes.

Ahem... Pokemon is QUITE FOR KIDS EVEN IN THE ORIGINAL!
It's about time to do some research...
-the roughest Pokemon ever got was Legends of Dratini where Team Rocket actually fired a gun but misses anything... in comparison to Gundam Wing who got 5 nameless pilots dying every episode...
-the original copy of "insult" is something like an insult, yet not enough to be swears... one must take note that whenever you're translating a show to another language, you can change how severe a put down is... Look at it like this:
the sentence is: "________ you, you infidel!"
Now there's at least 5 words that fits in that blank, and a lot of words WILL work for that blank... ranging from swear, to "curse you", or even "Away with you" and all of them will make sense in terms of context. Yet it's a lot worse when we use swears in the blank, in comparison to the other terms which are much nicer.
Plus, you shouldn't be swearing regardless of kids show or adults show... it's just needlessly rude to swear. Plus it really shows your lack of self control or intelligence when you have to resort to swearing... especially in an arguement.

Really though, sometimes its best to actually hunt these people down and inform them of what misconceptions they're entertaining. Not only might they be wrong, (Which most of them are,) but their ill informed Article could ruin Pokemon's Future fan base. I wasn't really suggesting it before to be mean, I was just thinking that sometimes its best not to let "Sleeping dogs lie" As the saying goes. People leave things alone when they really should help too often. That's why society is in such a mess that it is.
Now Kili really told that person what's what, and that's commendable. But there are many other misinformed peeps out there that require to be reeducated on the matter. So when I suggested Missionary like behavior, I wasn't really joking, I was being serious. i hope you guys understand what I mean. :\

Well, the person seems biased against Pokemon, which is garbage, because Pokemon is teh greatness ^^.
Anyhow, I think the guy is a moron, but to all their own. But to me, if you don't like something, don't bash it. I can tolerate "I hate Pokemon." but to go around bashing it is uncalled for.

No, you shouldn't. It's their opinion and choice to bash Pok?mon. Leave them be (I sound old...), because they're not hurting you, I'm sure.
