    I wanted to see how many of you like Kris better and how many of you like Soul better.

    For those who don't know, Soul is the female playable character of HeartGold and SoulSilver, named by the people of Bulbapedia.

    I personally like Kris better because she, like May, look tomboyish, which is something I personally like. X3 And also because of her blue hair... I like blue. X3 <3

    Soul, on the other hand, dressed the worst out of all the female playable characters in my opinion. Just look at her, she's the female teen version of Mario. She also kinda look like a Kingdom Hearts character.

    I rather prefer to have any other existing female playable characters. Kris and May for their tomboyishness and Leaf and Dawn for the way they dress (mainly because of their short skirts XD <3).

    Really? I never thought that.

    Personally I like her, she's different from all the other girls and to me she fits the Johto theme. Her style is sort of country and well, Johto reminds me of the county (a lot of small towns then one huge city with a radio tower) so yeah.

    Dawn? You sure you don't mean May? I'd say Dawn is the complete opposite of a tomboy lol.

    As for the poll, I like both... No preference at the moment.
     
    Soul. That's why she is in my avatar. If you hate her, then you don't like my avatar. :( Soul isn't the first Pokemon trainer to wear overalls ya know. Birdcatchers in GSC wore them, as well as those two special characters made for wifi plaza. It looked cute on all of them. Overalls may not be so great on an actual person, but I give Game Freak props for making the girl wear something the other female playable characters haven't worn. It's perfect for her region. She has to go to Ice Cave and other places of the sort. She needs long sleeves. That's probably why she also has long socks. The season this game represents is fall, so that's why she's covered up like that. She reminds me of a combo between Misty and Whitney, but brunette version. I don't want to play as someone with blue hair again. I would like to play as a character that resembles me for once. (Leaf was the closest to that.) If the new girl wore her hair down, I'm sure it would be almost the same length or longer than Dawn's hair, which is close to my hair length. I actually like the hat.
     
    I like Kris better and I kinda wish they'd used her instead of Soul...in my opinion, Soul appears to be less of a pokemon trainer, and more of a pokemon trainer's little sister, if you get what I mean. The only thing I like about the character design for Soul is the hat--it's pretty cute.

    I still miss Kris, though.
     
    Both. As long as they're both girls me to play as, I don't care.

    Honestly I don't get this "NOOOO KRIS IZ BETTER DEN SOUL" hate.

    I'd agree may was veering this way, but how does Soul look in any way more... developed. If anything she looks younger and more covered up.

    I prefer Kris, but only because I prefer the more anime style of her, with her Blue hair and so on.

    Its okay but I really don't think it gets boring. I've played with red for two gens but never got bored. I will probably play as Gold for the fourth time but won't get bored.(G/S/C, Shiny gold, Liquid Crystal and now HG/SS). Anyways its your opinion..
