There's no password for it. I've heard it opens up after the usage of the Union Room, but I've never tested that myself.
 
no, behind the boxes is givonii!(u only able to get through if u have e-reader) u can battle givonii in there! ican't remember if that's his house or his hideout
 
-_- Giovanni isn't in there. The e-reader doesn't work with FRLG. You get in there after linking up with someone through the Union Room. Once inside, there are various trainers you can battle.

It's just the same thing as the e-reader man in RS, only it uses the Union Room instead.
 
no, look, in 1 of the walk throughs on gamefaqs ([fire red/leafgreen]i think is by strawhat) he said he went in there by using e-reader and fought givonii!!
 
strawhat's FRLG guide says nothing about Giovanni in his section on the Sevii Islands. Not only that, the term "e-reader" is only mentioned once for the Enigma Berry.
 
yeah i tried it and it didn't accept the e-reader, sorry people that must be a lie.
 
um, u can only go through if u have the japanese version. by the way i'm not off topic i just want to prove i'm NOT wrong. i got that from Orphen89 on gamefaqs

11. On Island 7, what's behind the door in the house? The entrance is

by boxes and I can't go in.

I think this house is only accessible in the Japanese Fire Red/Leaf Green by
using an e-reader. However, I have been in the room by using a cheat and
strangely enough, I fought Giovanni!
 
Welcome to America...or some non-Japan country that has Pokemon games.

Yes, the Japanese versions used the e-reader, but the American (and maybe some other countries) versions don't, which leaves us back at the usage of the Union Room. The Japanese versions also used the e-cards for the Trainer Tower.

And that doesn't prove Giovanni is in there. The guy used a cheat (maybe walk through walls or a warp code) to get in there without ever going in the Union Room first. Stuff like that usually leads to randomly generated stuff.
 
yes, no japanese stuff *sign* now there's no way u can get in the through the boxes unless (cheat).
 
-_- I've been saying it throughout this whole thread: possibly the usage of the Union Room. If the UR doesn't grant you access, then NoA probably removed it just like they did with the affect of the Altering Cave.
 
So...has anyone actually gotten in there using legit means? Someone has had to have used the Union Room before (if that really is how you gain access to it)......[color]
 
Yeah, you mentioned the Card-E in the FAQ several times but it was for the Trainer Tower (Japanese) and the other two islands with the ubers on them. So that room is pretty much locked out without cheats?

Out of curiosity, what happens right when you go in the room (cheats or not)? Do you actually see the inside of another room or does a trainer battle just start right after the black screen fades out? Same goes for after the battle: Does the game freeze or do you automatically show up back in the Old Lady's house?

How is it lucky that he can leave the boxes there? He wants to get behind them. And strawhat used a Gameshark or Action Replay, so it definitely glitched the game when he went behind the boxes. I agree with Simon. They probably did scrap it just like the Altering Cave.
