    can you catch both of them in sapphire
     
    Normally, no. After you defeat the Elite Four, Latias will be capturable once you check the TV to see a commercial saying something about "a red Pokemon flying through the land."

    The other one, Latios, can be captured on Southern Island. You can reach Southern Island if you have the Eon Ticket (an e-reader card I think) which Nintendo gave out. You may or may not be able to buy it from stores such as GameStop. Or you can just cheat.

    Me. Ya can catch Latias on tha field an' Latios on a south island if ya've got the Eon Ticket, but I got 'em both 'cuz I have both Ruby an' Sapphire. ^^;;
     
    You have get the EON ticket. If you can't then you have to trade for either one with a firend. If you cannot do either it's time to go to cheating cause that's the only other way you can do it.
