    I attempted the elite four with the following party;

    Typhlosion - Level 58
    Ho-oh - Level 47
    Gyarados - Level 31
    Seel - Level 32
    Graveler - Level 26
    Fearow - Level 21

    I got all the way to lance using just Typhlosion. I went in there and got beaten due to his dragon type. So, i'm asking what's best to beat dragon types or the following;

    Aerodactyl - Level 48
    Gyarados - Level 46
    Dragonite - Level 49
    Dragonite - Level 49
    Dragonite - Level 50
    Charizard - Level 48

    Thanks.

    If you want to use your team, you should evolve Seel and train Dewgong and Gyarados it until level 50 at least.
    They're a big help against Dragonites, Aerodactyl and Charizard.
    Or you can train Dragon's Den Dratini until level 55, so it will be a Dragonite!

    Moving this to the In-game Team Help forum.

    My suggestions would be to, evolve Seel into Dewgong and teach it Ice Beam or another Ice-type move. Let Gyarados know Ice Fang if it doesn't already and level up both of the above mentioned Pokémon. Graveler will also come in handy if it knows some decent Rock-type moves which will put some effective damage to all his half-Flying Types. You may want to level him up as well.

    Other than the above mentioned, you should do fine. You have the right Pokémon to win, you just need them to know the best move for type advantage and you need to be some levels higher so you can last longer against him.

    The only advice is:

    GET SOME MORE POKEMON.

    Both are fire types which get owned by Dragons. You should of made a balanced team while doing a run through. Starting over is the only option here.

    Why do people not balance their pokemon's levels? Typhlosion is way overlevelled while everyone else is pitifully weak. Raise all of your weaker pokemon to lv.40-43 and you'll find the E4 to be a lot easier. :P

    As for Lance himself, Dewgong will be your best asset against if it has Ice Beam.

    Is This Not For Help Full Criticism? Evolve Graveler Using the GTS Glitch. Typhlosion is Over Leveled While Everyone Else Is Too Weak. Maybe Get An Electric Type To Maybe OHKO Gyarados and Be Strong Against Charizard. What Happened to your team One of them is in the twenties!

    Level Gyarados to 44 and you win. Dragon Dance + Waterfall, Bite and Ice Fang.

    Play Voltorb Flip in the Goldenrod games room until you get enough Pts for a dratini, level it up to a dragonite and you win. The end.

    Or gyarados w/ Waterfall / Ice Fang / Earthquake / Bite/SD

    Gyarados can't learn Swords Dance, I assume you meant Dragon Dance.

    Currently changed my pokemon around a little bit to get some strong pokemons in;

    Typhlosion level 60
    Ho-oh level 50
    Gyarados - level 39
    Dratini - level 25
    Graveler - level 25
    ---Free Slot----

    Using Typhlosion for the first three people although i'll swap with Ho-oh on the fighting person to make it quicker with extrasensory.
    Gyarados has Waterfall and Ice Fang to get rid of Charizard and possibly the Dragonite's as well. Not sure if it'd affect Aerodactyl. He also knows Thunder so that will get rid of Gyarados.
    Dratini knows Thundershock, will help.
    Graveler isn't really important but if called upon he will be there.
    Last spot i'm thinking of a Physic or Dark pokemon. Maybe a Gengar, Haunter or Gastly? Unless i can get Umbreon.

    Raising all above to level 45 at least.
