*Lance's "Kyosuke/Mai-lee Avatar"*

    This is an avatar I made in PSP yesterday, using the characters Kyosuke from Rival Schools, and Mai-lee from King of Fighters 2001... what do you all think of it?

    wow. i think that you are very good with the spritish banners and avatars. it adds a pixelly yet still good effect. ^^
     
    xD yeah, i always wonder how you put in animations without having so much trouble synchronizing the backing with the foreground stock. ^^
     
    Its easy XD, all I do is first save the background as a .png in PSP, then I use Ulead Gif Animator to just place a sprite where I want on the image and since its in frames its easy to synchronise and keep it in the spot that I want it to be in ^^.
     
    yeah, yeah, but... i don't have PSP or that Ulead thing. i have Photoshop and ImageReady xD
     
    yeah, but you'd have to put each part of the animation on a new layer of the banner, which takes a while. xD
     
    Oh... XD, that is long process that must take long for long animations, if your ever interested in putting some type of sprite/animated gif, Ulead Gif Animator is proberly you're best bet XD.
     
    Aww thanks Legend I appriate it ^^, PSP is just short for Paint Shop Pro, PSP 9 was recently released but I just use PSP 8 because it gets the same job done. You can get a free 2 month trial of it. If you need any help with it, I'll be more then happy to help you ^^' :

    Ulead Gif Animator is a stand alone program, so it doesn't work with either. Here is a link you can download it from:

    I have much respect for your work. It's hard to do that kind of stuff. Do you plan on going into an animation career? Or do you do it as a hobby?
     
    the avatars ok i cannot see the animated writing ... anyway the banner in ur sig is really good well done ... not in the way that im supirior cuz im deffenately not .... i just think u could do something better.
     
    Thank you I do this just as a hobby, something to do when I need a new avatar or sig or anything ^^.

    I admit my banner is not some of my best work, but as long as I'm ok with it and it looks decent, I think its fine ^^.
